please tell me you are not just learning this now.....

what happened?

Sometimes it just catches me off guard.  This girl wanted to pick up her packet 4 1/2 hours before packet pickup started and was pizzed 'cause it wasn't ready.  Whatever.  It wasn't the fact that she asked, it was the fact that she hadn't made prior arrangements and then was mad at me when I wasn't going to drop everything to put together her stuff, since she really needed to be somewhere in ten minutes.  Whatever.

I'm going to have to vote for a suspension instead of revokation.. while the use off BFF would normally let us revoke the man card.. he was using it to show affection towards a peice of equipment that is being used towards a "sporting" endeavour....

 Whew! Someone caught the humor...

Yeah, it was a chlorine pool, and it got a thorough washing, and will probably get another one. I might not get a good OWS opportunity before my first tri, so I wanted to at least get it wet once to check the fit, etc.

Glad I get to keep my card for now.

Sexy can be many many different things. The best are when a person isn't even trying, but just is.

I'm dead sexy.

Okay well A) I cannot pull off "sexy" if someone doesn't think Kiley is sexy. I'm far too...me to get THAT done. =) I'll snort or cross my eyes or something goofy too fast for that. =) I think...there are people who think I'm great/awesome/whatever who I don't WANT to think I'm sexy...does that make sense? =) My mom might think I'm the coolest ever (rightly so) but...I don't care if she thinks of me as "sexy." =)

I lof...I think most kinds of cheese. Regular...fake...melted...not...OMG...last night I had ajalepeno and pepperjack burger and MAN it was good.

You're making perfect sense to me.  I don't like fake cheese though - but I love the real stuff, pretty much everything but swiss.

bcart...you make me giggle.  =)  also, you're not a girl.  girls LIKE ... more than just showing up.  they LIKE effort equaling something extra.  and...that is all.

I know girls like to put on a little something extra from time to time. I'm saying that sometimes the normal everyday can be just as sexy as the extra.

Last night this girl told me I was hot. I thought "Are you kidding me? I'm unshaven, and wearing simple jeans and a t-shirt. How is that hot?" Maybe all this training is paying off, maybe sexy is something intangible...

bcart and whoever...I think if a DUDE tries it's like...eh. I mean showering is good. But...other than that? Meh. Be...a man. THAT's what's hot.

I'mna go have some enchilada thinger-majigger deal. Made by a friend of mine. But first I'm supposed to get chips and such. Ohhh the trials...

Yeah, I dunno.  I think there's a ridiculous double standard.  A guy can shower and be sexy, but if a girl isn't perfectly primped and groomed all the time than she's 'homely' or 'letting herself go'.  It really irritates me to no end.

This is just wrong wrong wrong.

Women can look absolutely stunning in soccer shorts and a t-shirt just as easily as thay can all primped up for a night on the town.

Y'all are just hanging out with the wrong guys.

Good evening, TANners!

Very tired right now with 2 days of IM Moo volunteering, and all day tomorrow!  Maybe I should have just DID the race instead??

Cami - I hope to not be thrown in that last generalized statement.  I (using a term that a few of you TANners like) LOF when a natural woman can be that way.  I don't mind a somewhat all primped up and proper woman, but I like natural, but not "French natural" where they may not shower for days. (yeah, that was a bad reference)

The funny thing about it (funny sad, not funny ha ha), is that I think women are often more likely to apply the double standard, then a lot of men.  I know that a lot of women like getting gussied up and some women have jobs where that is basically expected, but I just know a lot of women that are natural and clean and beautiful that way.  I guess I should stop expecting society to start becoming accepting about it anytime soon, but it still bugs me.  Unless I'm camping, I can't imagine not showering for days.  Showering is wonderful and it feels nice.

Since we're on this topic, do men like the smell of perfume, 'cause I hate it (a large part of it is an allergy thing) but another part is that it invades my space bubble.  Girls get on the bus and it's like BLA-DAOW!  Jeez Louise, back it up a bit sistah.

A *hint* of prefume is okay, but it's really a turn-off if I can smell her from 6 feet away, or 20 minutes after she's gone.

Sense of smell is funny. If the perfume is something an ex used to wear or something like that, it can bring about a non-preferred reaction.

I do not wear cologne.

Maybe a very subtle application, and it all depends on the scent.  There's a few college girls that walk by on campus doused in some stuff and I feel like I just took an uppercut cuz it hit me so dang hard.  PEEEEEYYYYYEEEEEWWWWW!!!  OVERWHELMING!
Don't get me started on some professional ladies that have lost their ability to smell, too (what, I put too much on?)!

Corporate office professionals or "professional" professionals?

"Professional" professionals, as in Donna Summer's "Bad Girls"?
