I am on schedule and have a ride planned for tonight. I have been feeling some twinges of pain in my left foot...feels like I imagine PF feeling like...I really hope it is not. Hi Katie, do you feel the pain mostly in the morning? Yeah...Saturday I woke up with pain just behind the ball of my left foot. It felt better later in the day so I went ahead and went for my run. Sunday was a non-r/b day and I just did some crunches. This morning I work up with pain along the arch of my left foot...it has gotten better throughout the day and does not hurt at all right now. Oh Im just catching up - sounsd a bit like PF (Plantar Fascitis) to me... both Beth and I have had it which is why she was probably asking about the mornings... |

A bit light on then again being in the office at 7:30 is probably why Ive lacked focus this afternoon! Im not that keen to START much in the way of work as i know whatever i start will have to be finished by the end of the week before I go on leave! |

Im pretty sure if I do almost NOTHING for the next 3 days it wont matter... there is just some loose ends I want to tie up before I get gone... but to be honest its not that bad... If I hadnt been nominated to go to the Sales Management meeting this morning I would NOT have been in this early today! Tomorrow i have a PT session at 7pm so Im going to have some time to kill at work and a lunch to go to during the day... Thursday night drinks with the sales team, a breakfast Friday... Rolling your foot on a water bottle (bonus points if you freeze it first), roller or tennis ball will help... And make sure you wear supportive shoes at ALL times... heels, slip ons are not so good - supportive sneakers or flat shoes are better... Stretch your calves and archilles... Umm... thats about it... you may need some down time from training depending on whats aggravating it - can be either running or even riding (as the cleats and their position can but quite a bit of pressure on yuor foot) Best of luck! |
