hope your work day ends soon!

for dinner you could have:

tri tip with beans / salad

bbq ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad

pizza - delivered or eat out...or maybe Kendra will come make her special Pizza for us!?!

cheeseburgers ff

chili dogs

pizza - bbq ckn, veggie or four cheese....my husband would say the more the meat the merrier!

cheesy quiche with fruit salad

sushi - out to eat...would be afraid to try this at home!

chinese food...mmmm love chinese food!

tacos - my all time favorite!

cfs...my specialty!

pizza

liquid diet! (dont recommend this!) you will need more then a bagel to get your mojo working for that long bike ride you have planned tomorrow! probably some advil and a ice pack! plus a very quiet group!

did I say pizza???

Again ~ hope your day zooms by....its almost Friday! hey ~ there's something else to think about! it will soon be the weekend! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to make sure he makes a debut at this race...will be nice to get him out! hope he feels the same way! he has become quite the hermit!

we will not be around this weekend...so, hope someone will update my goals! thanks I just cant seem to get on the spreadsheet. Thanks team! LETS GO!!! we are getting to the end...lets pull away from the other teams and not look back! GO SOS GO!

Good morning!  It's another hot and humid morning in northwest Florida, and I'm getting ready to go out and trudge through it.  I can't wait for some cooler weather!

Have a great weekend everyone!

BozNC - 2009-08-19 7:48 PM OUT OF COMMISSION FOR A FEW MONTHS! Hi everyone. This morning during our group ride I was drafting behind three other guys. One of them had carbon wheels on his bike. As we were descending (about 30+ mph) his wheel disintegrated. We were so close that as he crashed I had no time to react. I hit him, completely flipped over my handlebars and landed on my head (thank God for my helmet). Anyway, to make a long story short (too late), I fractured my T-2 vertebrae. Luckily I won't need surgery. Doc's said I have to wear the collar for two weeks and pretty much do nothing. They said if I take it easy it should heal on it's own in two or three months. On that note, I apologize to the team but I will obviously not be able to meet my goals. Good luck to everyone, I hope you win the challenge.

Heal up quickly and I will make changes to the spreadsheet.  I will leave you on the team and just adjust everything to your final numbers in there today or tomorrow so you show 100%

Thanks for being such a great teammie and rest up!

Cool, thanks Bill. Hope everyone has a Great weekend

kns57 - 2009-08-18 5:07 PM Hey team!  Got another bike session in today.  I'm now at 62% for goal.  With the race this weekend, it should bring me a lot closer to goal.

you racing this weekend Kendra?

anyone else?????

Yup, I'm racing.  Don't feel ready.  Just going to have fun though.

ok...is it a run? tri? tell us all about it!

Sprint Tri.  Had a scare this morning.  I realized I hadn't gotten any emails from them this week about packet pick up.  checked with my friend who is going and she got her email.  Then I got worried that my registration got lost.  Found the email of the race and emailed them.  Two hours later I heard back and they do have my registration.  Don't know why I did not get any emails this week from them though.  So, no longer mad about not being registered, but nervous about how I will do.

Morning everyone.  I was out of the office all day yesterday but since I last posted I got in 2 swim & strength workouts plus some runs and some biking so all is good right?

Hope everyone has a great day of training or whatever else is on the docket!

do you sleep? when were you able to get all that ^^^^ done!???

plus...do you work in the justice or court system???

Oh that was over  2 days, not one

No I work at a CPA firm and we are on flex time so I work 7-3:30 so if I drive I can hit the gym before and after work and then I run while son is practicing football instead of sitting on my bippie for 2 hours!

dang...you are a work a holic work-out-aholic! I would love to sit on my bippie...but cant seem to find the time! and my kids are alllll grown up, too. What am I doing wrong???

See you are an extrovert who luvs your kiddos and would like chatting with all the other families about their sons and how they are the best football player in the world .  I would rather go run by myself and then come back all sweaty so no one talks to me and I can watch my son so I can help him become better than he was yesterday - I would be an introvert who luvs his kiddo

I used to walk 3-5 miles during my sons soccer practice.  After a while some of the other mothers joined me for part of the mileage, so that way you could get your chatting in along with a little exercise.

Good morning everyone!  This day is threatening to get away from me... got up to run this morning and the sky opened up.  Looked at the computer and the radar showed it was just a little blob, so I waited awhile and then went out for my run -- which sucked!  Then I was late for work, and now I'm scrambling trying to get everything done that needs to be accomplished today.  I also plan a bike ride this evening, but it's already doubtful...  The good news is that I'm off tomorrow, heading to Atlanta for a baseball game!

The Braves?  I was just there Sunday night.  They lost.

Well I'm hoping for a win on Satuday.

Now come on - unless they are playing the Dodgers or Giants (to help my Rockies out divisionally), or the Cubs or Marlins (to help my Rockies out for Wild Card) - I hope they lose - they have been playing some good ball lately!

Sorry but I am homer and my team needs all the help it can get to stay in the playoffs!

As a matter of fact, they are playing the Marlins, so now you have to root for them!

So are you hoping for a Marlins win or a Braves win????
