but....

they are having trouble with missing/losing/forgetting to turn in assignments.

and im going bonkers trying to stop on top of them and all their work.

its like herding cats

nailing jello to the wall.

they have homework planners.

and folders

and TRAPPER KEEPERS.

and the minute they come home....

i have them sit down with me

I'm having the same issues with my oldest. He always improves as the year goes, but when summer comes it's like hits a reset button. It's a very grr process, but at least he's still trying.

and we go over their planner and figure out wha they need to do for homework

and they work on it right away.

and when they're finished, i look over it.

and i have them put it away in their folder, in their TRAPPER KEEPERS.

somewhere between here and school....

and the teacher, its

MIA.

AND MY A&B STUDENTS are reduced to

getting Cs and Ds.

TOTALLY UGHISH.
