bcart1991 - 2008-09-06 7:34 PM A *hint* of prefume is okay, but it's really a turn-off if I can smell her from 6 feet away, or 20 minutes after she's gone. Sense of smell is funny. If the perfume is something an ex used to wear or something like that, it can bring about a non-preferred reaction. I do not wear cologne.

I wore a dab of Polo for an old girlfriend.  I think my wife bought me some years ago, and I may have put a dab on a couple of times.  I really don't like to wear cologne.  I don't care to wear "bling", either.  It isn't my style.

Don't lie. You go out looking like Mr. T, don't you?

All I wear is my watch, and it has a matte finish.

I'm jumping into this convo late, but, I wear perfume or some sort of "scent" pretty much every day. Hopefully, I'm not using too much I've had lots of boys tell me I smell good, so I guess I'm not offending anyone As for guys, if they wear cologne, thats fine, if not, that's fine too. As long as they don't take a bath in it, or smell like they NEED a bath. Sometimes cologne is nice, but usually I just like the smell of their soap and whatever deodorant they use or whatever. Most guys just have a nice clean, generic "guy" smell.

Not a huge fan of jewelry on guys - a watch is fine. My ex-boyfriend wore a cross. That's different. Otherwise, I'm not a huge fan.

What many fail to realize is that the smell of perfume, cologne, etc. doesn't neutralize odors.  So if you need a bath, you still need a bath after you spritz.

If you're wanting to know if you're using too much, ask an honest girlfriend, 'cause I don't think most guys are going to give you a non-binary answer.   How goes the day?  Are you still looking at a du for tomorrow?

That's understandable.

I need a laptop so I can internet from the living room. I'm half-interested in the Florida-Miami game, but not enough to sit in front of it for 3 hours.

Sharkie - 2008-09-06 8:59 PM I've now had 1 Pepsi and 8 Chicken Nuggets (quick, instant, microwave quasi protien)..  I'm still shaking like a leaf...  Ugh.. what do i HAVE to do to stop this????

The Pepsi probably didn't help. Drink some water. And eat something more substantive than chicken nuggets. Make yourself some toast or eat a bowl of cereal. That usually helps me. I made the mistake of taking 2 full-strength midols - 120 mg of caffeine. I wanted to die. Usually I buy the "teen" version cuz it has less caffeine.

I know, sometimes I wish I had a laptop. But I use my computer for email and effing around on BT. It works perfectly fine, even though it's 5 years old, so there's no reason to buy a new computer.

Psssh, there's ALWAYS a reason for a new toy. Just not always the money for one.

ETA: Mine is also about 4-5 yrs old too.

I have a laptop; I don't travel with it all that much.  Though there are times - I'm just not one of those people that constantly needs to be 'connected'.  That, and I don't travel much.

I've had a ton of water today.. it's no dehydration from the caffiene..  It's because of the lack of food..  Usually something sugary helps me feel better in about 10 mins.. and then some protien helps..   I'm out of PB.. usually I'll do some PB toast..  5 shots of espresso = 500mg of caffeine..  the caffeine makes me a happy girl

No, I know, I just meant to try to flush the caffeine out of your system. Dunno if it ACTUALLY works, but I tell myself that and it seems to Yeah protein is good, but the carbs seem to do a better job of absorbing it all. Kinda like after a long night of drinking. You need both

Yeah, I bought furniture. Which cost a lot more than a new laptop these days. I don't really need it, anyway. I don't use it for work. BUt I could be all snuggly in bed right now instead of sitting at my desk.

This is actually my second laptop - my other one was about 4 years old when I replaced it.  I've had this one for a year.  I'm sure if I didn't have a laptop, it would drive me crazy after having one for so long.  However, I'm a visual person so I can't really do anything else when I'm actually on the computer - not even talk on the phone.
