just never swam in it That's really my only choice for OWS. I can see salt water from my living room. To try and find a lake or pond would be silly when I have a mile of beachfront I can use. But it is Long Island Sound and not the open ocean where I'm at. Waves are typically 1-3 feet and not big breakers like out in Rhode Island. |

just never swam in it Swam as in cap, googles, yardage, or as in just BEING in the ocean? we vacation at the beach in Florida every summer for a couple of weeks, and me and the boys body surf and play in the ocean, but I have never SWAM in the ocean like for training or racing. But you can see the ocean from the pool area where I swim laps while on vacation... Ok. Phew. I was worried you had never been in the ocean. Bring your goggles and try it out Just watch out for jetskis. I ALWAYS want a margarita after swimming in the ocean. I think it's from swallowing so much salt. That, or I'm an alcoholic. Tomato tomatao. |
