Out: 1:14:08 Back: 1:45:00 Note to self: Start out into the wind, or it gets to be a very long ride home. I'm pretty sure if I had started out into the wind I would not have gone nearly as far as I did *wind blown toppage* Edited by disturbed275 2009-03-22 7:50 PM |

Champion 10742 Ames, IA | Subject: RE: Peep Show - The Trilogy Offthegrid - 2009-03-22 7:44 PM I went riding, but couldn't quite manage 2 hours. The wind, my God, the wind. Everywhere I went there was a headwind. At one point I'm in my lowest gear, going up a slight incline into a horrible headwind, 168 heart rate, and I was probably going 8 mph. In other news, I'm so $#!$#!@ tired of my Polar. Speedometer doesn't work, cadence doesn't work. I'm switching to my Garmin next ride. The wind was everywhere today. I made me wanna cry and I spent a lot of time yelling some not so pleasant things at it. That only seemed to make it gust harder though Way to get out there though! |

ETA - That was one omelet with three kinds of cheese in it. I realized it looked like I might have made a really big pig of myself this morning! I'm hungry now. |

Iron Donkey 38643 , Wisconsin | Subject: RE: Peep Show - The Trilogy serendipity - 2009-03-22 11:45 AM I am having a great day today. Nothing hurts. I'm in a good mood. And after the younger kid's swimming lesson at 1:30 I have nothing to do the rest of the day. Well, nothing that MUST be done today, anyway. I see some relaxing in my future. You could have come play Laser Tag with our son's b-day party. That was a blast. |

We're looking a little better but there are still a few people who haven't checked in for a few days. Hope they are keeping it peachy!! Thanks for updating the spreadsheet!
We figured that since you got that 15K milestone post, you would slack off from your duties. |

Iron Donkey 38643 , Wisconsin | Subject: RE: Peep Show - The Trilogy Offthegrid - 2009-03-22 1:23 PM HOLY TOLEDO, IRONMAN, I SWAM A 100 FREE IN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES TODAY!!! OMG!!!!!!! Seriously. I'm so psyched. (And that was with doing really poor technique open turns.) And my warmup 100 time was 2:10 - it was 2:45 just two weeks ago. And I did a 500 free in 11:30 or something, so if I counted right, that's like a 2 minute improvement in just two weeks. I also did distance per stroke drills, and I did six (I think) of 18 ... I could *not* get below 20 ever before the lessons and usually was 22-23. Isn't that great to keep hitting those goals?! |

I keep working the Trigger Points a couple of times a day, and it's tough to find some of them any more. I've rocked my nutrition all weekend. As we speak, I'm eating salmon and yams before heading out for a bike ride. (And a coffee, no one's perfect.) Not sure how long/far I'll be able to ride today. I'm hoping for 2 hours. YAMS! I LOF YAMS! |

The workout totals through Week 3 of the March Marshmallow Challenge are: TASER ROASTED PEEPS - 483 workouts total! TEAM PEEP SHOW - 418 workouts total! BUT Taser Roasted Peeps has 24 team members and Peep Show has only 22, so I've redone the totals by PERCENTAGE, giving us: TASER ROASTED PEEPS - 483/504 possible workouts = 95.8% PEEP SHOW - 418/462 possible workouts = 90.5% Which means....... Winning Team - TASER ROASTED PEEPS (96% of possible workouts) Marshmallow Team - PEEP SHOW (91% of possible workouts) But remember -- March is not over yet!!!! Week 4 has already begun. Will the standings change? Work out hard, and stay tuned to find out! - Dee Well, the bad news for Team Peep Show is that you're still the Marshmallow Team. But the GOOD news is that your team percentage went UP from last week. But we still RAWK the secondary POST PADDING challenge! NYAH! |
