I got an e-mail this morning from a friend. She is single mother of 2 teenage boys, ages 12 and 14. She recently moved into a really nice neighborhood, close to her parents house (they help out a lot). Yesterday there were police cars at the neighbors when she was up early walking the dog and still there when she took the kids to school. Turns out they were there to arrest the 18 yo boy that lives there with his parents for suspected trafficking in kiddie porn. Wow. Just wow. Needless to say, her boys won't ever be home alone if that kid gets out on bail. What the hell is wrong with people? I mean seriously? What goes through someone's head that makes them think stuff like that is ok? Not that what he did is smart but he is 18 and "IF" he is dating a 17 y/o and does something "innocent" - guess what - trafficking children porn. I am not defending him but it could be as "innocent" as that but as Kim said there are other issues so most likely not! Innocent until proven guilty is worth believing in. However according to a press release issued by the county Prosecuter, AOL reported his e-mail account for transmitting pictures of children engaged in unlawful sexual acts to the County Prosecutors Task Force on Internet Crimes Against Children. Still doesn't mean he's guilty, but doesn't look good. If he is guilty, hopefully the system can turn him around. If not, lock him up. |
