I think I have to agree with Neal... You look great in both and the red would be great as so many wear black dresses, but I really really like the black

Morning everyone!  I had a busy weekend both working and playing...now back for more work!

Where are all of the Ghoulies today?

Guess who lives in the coldest spot in north america? I do...yesterday at our airport it was like -47C with a windchill of -58C.....ya....second coldest spot in the world...who beat us? some place in Siberia....

ya.....thats right....haha

How in the world do you heat your house?

Wow!  Did you go for a run yesterday?

you know I had contemplated a run yesterday...but then my brother's car didnt start and we spent about 10min outside trying to move it so the other cars could get out of the drive way....and my toes were ice....pretty close to frostbite---that was when i decided that a run was a bad decision...haha

Hey Ghoulies.  I totally spaced on PT appointment this afternoon.  I'm a little upset with myself right now.

On the flip side I had a great swim so the afternoon wasn't a total loss.

your in good company NEAL.  i did the same thing on lunch w a meetup.com group AND a eye doctors appt. 

im a little upset too.

especially the Eye Dr. i need new specs BAD!

we thought so.

yes.  we ran too. 

[and when i say we were swinging on swings AND running i mean we were swinging on swings and running....get your minds outta the gutters GHOULIES]

then i was on my way home, i KNEW i needed gas when i went to the park to run, figured id make it to the station...

i was like 100 feet away and it stopped.

OK.  so im close.  that's good.

i walk to the station and get a can (which i had to buy) only to find out that i never put my money back in my purse after the happy hour last night.  i didnt have a single dollar OR my credit card w me.  BAH!!!

the lady was so NOT nice.

she wasnt gonna give up the can for nothing.  im like ill get the can get some gas, go home, come right back and pay you....nope.

so i went through my phone to call someone i knew would be around/home which was NO ONE....j/k.  called a few friends and finally got a hold of my friend (whose a cop, so shes used to helping out distressed motorists.  LOL)

get this.

i call her.

told her what happened/where i was at.

she like i just drove past there right that minute.

wtFLIP??

whats the chances....

i swear i have the BEST karma.  things might be uber duber sucktastic one minute, and the WHAMO something happens to turn everything around.

she comes and rescues me.

what a friend.

i owe her BIG TIME.

what should i get her.  i want to get her something.

maybe a gift certificate to her favorite nail salon....that would be fun.

glad i have friends.  im just sayin...

everyone DOES wear black to this party...not that its required, it just seems to be a common 'theme.

Evening Ghoulies.  Quiet in the village tonight.  I had a busy day and couldn't drop in until now.  Hope everyone is warm and dry. 

Holy carp!  That is seriously cold!!!!

Melissa, you are a med student .....hence brighter than the "average Joe."  Even the "average Joe" would not run in those conditions.  Although.....you could pretty much take the lead in Mr. W Graves Crappy Winter Weather Challenge.

Looking forward to the pics!  California is such a diverse and beautiful state....once you get outside of the cities/urban sprawl.  Laughing at the visual of you with the push button start to the rental.  I have one of those and there have been some interesting valet parking incidents in the city. 

Most of all, enjoy your trip!

Good morning Ghoulies!!!!

Today is an exciting day! I will have to push all of my runs back a day this week but that is OK. I am taking a road trip this afternoon to drive down outside of DC and pick up my nephew and my sister's greyhound, when my nephew gets home from school because my sister is in labor! I am going to be an aunt today!!! WOOHOO!!!!

I'll let you all know later how everything goes and if I have a niece or a nephew! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!
