Hi Mentees - just a heads up, I know I havent been around much the last week or so but I AM checking the thread everyday so Im here I am!

Translation: 1) Cat is busy at work right now. 2) Cat has a "new friend"*, and is hoping to have a more active social life. *"new friend" = HOT GUY who cooked her dinner the other night. (Of course, I haven't seen any pictures of him, so I don't know for sure that he's HOT. But I'll assume he is.)

Umm thanks Dee.. Im sitting on the couch working with the Giro TT on tv and laid out infront of me Turkish bread, cheese, pate, potato chips (The good ones), biscuits and some diet coke...

Do NOT talk to me about nutrition until Friday... D-Day at work is Thursday and I stood up a couple of months ago and convinced management to give me full control and let me revamp the process...

I deliver on Thursday afternoon....

Given that spread, why bother with DIET coke? LOL Good luck! I'm sure Thursday's session will go wonderfully. Who knows, maybe they'll assign you to "biking events" as a full-time job.

I wish that really was my job!!!!

Didn't somebody (Dogwood girl, maybe?) have a race planned for this weekend?  If so, how did it go?

Other than jumping the gun and hitting the gym yesterday because I thought it was going to rain (it turned out beautiful), my weekend went well.  I really enjoyed my open water swim and transition clinic and feel much better about things as my first race creeps forward on Sunday.  I've also been doing some extra stretching so I don't have any repeats of my last planned race.
