There's just something odd about picturing Santa in a slob-style apartment being cleaned by a tri-hottie, and cleaning guns...

YOU THINK I'M A TRI-HOTTIE! I rrrrrrrrrruv you!

Yes, hee hee, my roommate and I are totally the odd couple, but he's also the world's best roommate. I would not have a roof over my head right now if it weren't for him.

Who doesn't think you're a tri-hottie?  I've only been here for a few months, and from my skulking about, it seems that everyone thinks that.

And I happen to think that I am the best room-mate.  I work on the weekends so I can be home all week to watch the baby, clean the house, and have dinner waiting for my wife when she gets home.  Then I clean up after dinner, and at least 1 or 2 times a week she can have a foot massage after the baby goes to bed.  And the other nights, she gets a short (too short for her, but it's until I fall asleep) back rub in bed.

I don't have a Santa beard, but I have the belly.  Too bad my guns are still in NY.

That's what I say... everyone complains about a $7 beer, but it's like a gallon of frothy goodness.  What's not to like?

Well, if it's crappy beer, that's always a valid complaint.  I don't care how big the bucket is, I don't want to pay $8 for an MGD.

Point taken, but even though I can be a bit of a beer snob at times, my drink of choice is usually dictated by the venue.  If I'm taking in a minor league baseball game on a weekday night, I'm drinking a half-gallon of bud light(esque) swill.  My motto in college was the 3C's, 'whatever is cheapest, coldest, and closest'. If I'm drinking at a classier locale, I'll partake of a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout (my favorite drink on the planet... except for maybe a manhattan).  However, there's never any excuse for a Zima.

Point taken on the venue...but I'd rather try to sneak a flask into a minor league game than drink something Bud Light(esque).  And I'll agree that Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout is fantastic, but I tend to like things a bit more aggressive.  I'm on a big Arrogant Bastard kick right now.  And if I can spare the extra $, I'll even go for the Oaked version.

Unless of course, a Manhattan is on the menu.  I personally like a little extra bitters in mine.  But there's also a place and time for an Old Fashioned too.

And what's worse, Zima or Boone's Farm of any flavour?

Agreed.  Usually if I want something with a bit more kick, I'll have single malt.  Or to quote this guy... "scotchy scotchy scotch scotch".

That's a tough one.  I'd probably have to say Zima.  In fact, I'll take a strong stance against Zima.  I'd take Boone's Farm in any flavor over Zima any day.

Even if you're being one of the cool kids and put a Jolly Rancher in your Zima?  *insert beer snob eye roll here*  That's what all the dorks I went to HS did when they thought they were being cool.
