There are older ones saved and I just have to change some numbers and dates. WAY easier than starting from scratch. I think I'll only have to do 2 from scratch. Yesterday I got an email from my company that gov't lady who doesn't like me called to complain about me. I start work at 6, and she complained about me being here at 5:45. Really? It's an issue for her because contractors are scum and you can't trust them. There are no gov't people here when I get here and I may be doing who knows what. There are supposed to be gov't people here starting at 6, and they walk in about 6:10 or 6:15, but I'm the one in the wrong. That's what had me pizzed off yesterday. |

She also wants to change my hours so that I'm not allowed to be here before 0700. I call BS on that one. I already emailed our supervisor to ask what was up with this and told I'd like to talk about it. I don't want to get home an hour later in the evening, and I told him why. Last night between biking and running my workout was 2 hours. I had enough time to shower, get dressed again, and grab a drink and was out the door to play volleyball. She just doesn't like me and no one here knows why. Others have made comments that they see she picks on me. It makes me sad to be in a situation like this. |

He's out of the office until the end of next week, but he is checking email. Hopefully I hear from him soon. |

A close work colleague lost her valient battle with ovarian cancer last night. I knew this day was coming, but still was really difficult to read that e-mail. Nat was a dedicated scientist and passionate advocate for patient care. Up until two weeks ago she still was connected to several teams that she supported via e-mail....still making a difference. She had the biggest heart and rescued the sick and injured at home as well. Her home was filled with birds, dogs, cats and lord knows what else....all having been lost and helpless at one point. She made them her family. I am crying as I type this. I suspect I'll be weepy most of the day. I'm not alone. She was a special person in many people's lives. (((((hugs))))) My thoughts are with you during this sad time. |

I think I can get 30 miles out of my 27 mile trip. I have to go pick up a prescription and I mapped it out so it's 13.5 miles to the pharmacy. Then I found a slightly different way home that is just under 17. WOOHOO!!! I'm hoping I have the legs for a 2-3 mile run then. I'm not riding for speed though, just want to be outside and get some time in the saddle. Later everyone |
