There's this little business down the street where you go and prepare your own food and then freeze it till your ready to cook it. I actually thought about trying it once. It's kind of cool, their menu changes every month. We have a few of those here, too, though I haven't tried them yet... I've heard very good things about them, though. we have one here and once I got past kicking myself for not having thought about taking what I've been doing for years and making it into a business I tried it out The only caution I would have is to check the nutritional value - I found that the recipies, while tasty, tended to be very high in calories and fat I have noticed that they are now offering a healthy menu plan as well - although, I haven't been overly thrilled about the menu options - not particularly kid friendly LOL - maybe you should check it out ;-) |

It's kind of cool, their menu changes every month. We have a few of those here, too, though I haven't tried them yet... I've heard very good things about them, though. Haven't heard much but it always seems to have people in there prepping food. So I assume it's popular. The prices seem to be reasonable from what I saw when I stopped by once. I think if you calculate it out meal per meal it's very reasonably priced but I wasn't too keen on having to purchase X number of meals at once. I'd like to be the decision-maker on that... particularly with three kids who are by no means picky eaters but they are used to my cooking . I'd like to be able to try out just a couple and see how it goes, ya know? For awhile it was very trendy to have parties at those places. I am not much into "home parties" and this is just a variation on that theme so I never made it to one. Exactly!!! I do know a couple of people that split the meals, so they could get a flavor for it, but not have to commit totally each gal made the meals they wanted to, if it works like the one here, you don't have to make one of each meal in the menu, just a certain total # of meals, so they each got to try out the 3 or 4 recipies that they wanted to i would have to say, that my kids never found it a substiute for my cooking - but, they didn't mind too much |
