Master 1817 Lafayette, IN | Subject: RE: Nibbs XXVII mchally - 2008-11-04 11:28 PM It is funny to wear multiple older suits...people react in different ways. I wore one in HS that was knotted in 3 places in the bum region. My team had an unofficial competition going on who could wear the ugliest suits, the rattiest suits, and the most suits. I was near the top with seven suits at one time. Oh the days of silliness. I never got over 3 suits. We used to wear tore up tights as well. The chlorine did interesting things to the color. I had one pair that went the nastiest brown. Good stuff. |

I wore one in HS that was knotted in 3 places in the bum region. My team had an unofficial competition going on who could wear the ugliest suits...and the most suits. I was near the top with seven suits at one time. Oh the days of silliness. Troof! Wearing a bunch of ugly dried out suits just means you're a real swimmer. (And thrifty, too!) During swim practice, the team color was a range of mucky browns. Edited by mchally 2008-11-04 10:33 PM |

That's beautiful ... have you read Lynne Cox's Swimming to Antarctica? That'll make you fall in love all over again for sure. I think I'd find the love again if I ever actually swam. Ocean swimming is lovely for sure. |

Ocean swimming is lovely for sure. I'm a little to far from the ocean, but we've got some good lakes to swim in. There's a huge reservoir really, really close that has parks on either side of it. The distance between them? 5km. How perfect, and it's my underhanded plot to organize a 10k swim through the new tri club. |
