I guess it wouldnt have been unethical since tehnically the owners of the property hired him not me... But I dont think I remember how to hit on strangers... or date... or any of that stuff! |

hehe maybe we should set a monthly goal of chatting up someone... or would that require you to stop working? It would require me to stop working. Also, um, I live in a little hick town. In other words, before I start chatting anyone up, I will probably need to move. |

We have a shared fridge at work that we share between a couple of departments... But... over the past 4 months (or more) food has been stolen out of it... but sometimes whole meals will be taken, sometimes (for example) the chicken breast off the top of a stirfy mgiht be taken... (eeew) It started off randomly and now its almost daily and been going on for months with an average of one person every couple of days getting 'hit'. Everyone from the Department Directors down has had an issue with it too! (you wouldnt want to get caught would you?) Anyone know how to set up video surveillance? Do the tried and true childhood tactic. Lick your food before you put it in the fridge, or put a note on the outside that says 'I licked this food.' Always worked when we would claim pizza pieces when we were young. Or you could be more subtle and put a note on the food that says 'Keep your grubby hands off my food, THIEF!' Good luck with that... Or put a sign on it like this: Edited by D001 2008-03-06 7:43 PM (poison_sign.png) Attachments ---------------- poison_sign.png (10KB - 16 downloads) |

Pam - have you heard anything back from your email yet? My boss sent me an e-mail with a glimpse of what he has been doing to get this thing resolved. He has been standing up for me even though HR has been giving him a tough time. When I left work yesterday, he was on the phone about my situation. Now I feel bad for putting him through all this for 4 stupid hours of work. The whole thing is just ridiculous. Could you just take 4 hours of compensation for it? In other words, half a day off? |

Damn. I didn't think Spring would wack me like this here. is it spring? really? What's spring? I've got what feels like allergies. The body (and Mucinex) did a great job at getting all the 'gunk' out of the system, but my nose is still constantly running and I'm still coughing 'stuff' out, but it's all clear......it couldn't be allergies, could it? It's 0 degrees out this morning...nothing could possibly be blooming outside... and probably dead for a while!
