Is this cold ever going to go away??? Beth, are you still having symptoms even though you feel better? It will be two weeks ago tomorrow that I caught it and everyone keeps saying how awful I sound today

it took me a good 2 weeks to get over it - I'm still sort of snotty in the morning

- of course I did rest and recover rather than continuing to train and run a marathon, so I may have recovered a little quicker than you

I think you had it worse than I did also

jenni4 - 2008-11-03 1:32 PM Soup sounds good, but its heated back up here. So I'm having a homemade smoothie 1 Cup Strawberry Yogurt, 1 Banana, half a cup of blue berries. Yum, Yum. So now that we're eating lunch, what's everyone thinking about for dinner. Think we're going to try a new recipe for homemade chili mac-sounds like the hamburger helper thing. Should be yum.

I'm debating - last night I made low fat chicken Alfredo it was YUMMY!

I had planned on making a new recipie for a sort of roasted chicken thingy - but I'm kind of burned out on chicken, so I may make turkey rubens (cuz turkey is so much different than chicken)

but..........i really need to use the chicken breasts and soon or they will go bad - i guess i could freeze them for a rainy day........

what to do?!!

When it gets in my chest I feel like it lasts forever. Speaking of snotty, since it was a cold race yesterday, I'd say about 75% of the 38,000 runners were snot rocketing all over the place! It must have really grossed out spectators. It made me giggle. If only they knew what went on in an Ironman....

I always end up freezing my chicken. I fear salmanilla like you wouldn't believe! But if you want to try a new chicken, try this sometime. I swear it's the best way I've ever eaten a chicken breast and it takes zero time to prepare. It tastes like it should be bad for you, but it's super healthy. Yum!

Can't bring myself to eat hostess type stuff, but put out a plate of doughnuts or turnover or cinnamon rolls and I can't help myself.  I know pretty much the same stuff as hostess but for some reason it's different.

Unfortunately I'm kind of equal opportunity. I love the chocolate cupcakes, love twinkies, love suzy qs and love ho hos. I'm basically a pig!

I was a Yodell and Ringding Addict. And the Entemans Devil's food cake with the marshmallow icing was da BOMB.  Alas, i no longer eat those things, but let me tell you, when i go food shopping i sit and stare at them sometimes.

After struggling to lose weight for years and finally dropping 20 pounds this year, I usually have to pass on all of it as well. Sigh. But the 100 calorie packs help. I can eat three little cupcakes and it's not terrible. Of course if I get drunk and eat 6-8 packages that's another story!
