Normal dudes have very little when it comes to relationships. So their choices are clingy dudes (nope), normal dudes who spend their time playing fantasy football (not unless they're rich), or a-holes that come and go but provide a nice game to play and something to chase (yep). ahhh...that thing people refer to as emotions... Actually, I tend to be emotional - it was just that the gf stifled all that in me to the point of me closing down. When you have no idea what will set her off, or when, or why, that tends to happen. And then it's all "my" fault. |

Limiter Challenge lastcall2003 - 2008-12-10 9:28 PM Yeah Beth! So, back to the running question I started doing tri's in my mid forties and hadn't run since high school. In HS I ran track one season - it was pretty much a disaster My first tri was a sprint and I pretty much walked the whole way (I also bought my first bike 2 weeks before my first tri - lol!) anyhooo I'm going into my 4th season of tris and am finally starting to enjoy the running part - (if you can call what I do running ) I ran at first because it was part of the tri training, now I run because I am having fun and it makes me feel strong (did I say that?!!!) |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge here's the story I was here in PA all alone after my first day of work, really wanted a glass of wine and I needed food I went to the grocery store thinking I could get both - HA! not so I went back to the apartment thinking, hmmm I'll find something in the directory they gave me that will show me where to go - HA! I found a place that sells Beer and Soda, sounds promising right? yeah, not so much I go to the beer and soda place, and am looking around very confused, because all I see are cases of beer and soda - I'm thinking, I just want a six pack - so, a guy that worked there came over to help me, I asked for some fat tire, he proceeds to pick up a case, I'm like - no, I don't want a case, where do I get a six pack? We chat for a while, and I explain that what I really want is a bottle of wine - he tells me about the wine and liquor stores and approximately where it is, he also tells me where to find a six pack so, I head out on my quest - it's dark, it's raining, I can't get a GPS signal I don't find the wine and liquor store, but I do find a place to buy a six pack (turns out I missed the wine store by a couple of blocks and 10 minutes..........:/) I grab a six pack of fat tire and then think - OMG, I don't know if there's a bottle opener in the apartment, so I ask the guy at the counter if I can buy a bottle opener - and the answer is no, it's illegal to sell bottle openers in the same place that sells beer - doh'!!! So I grab a 6 pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade to be safe and head for home the funniest part of it all, is that after all my searching, the guy at the package take out store carried my 2 six packs to the car for me - LOL! |
