not often I say woohoo for Monday...but forgot that Monday was a part of this month...so I should reach my goals!!! even swimming! hoping to get one swim in this weekend and one on Monday! may even go tomorrow too! which would put me over.

ran a tempo run...was hot but seemed to really struggle out there...WHAT TEMPO???? only temp out there was what was coming out of my ipod!

 it was in the low 90's and dry...no wind. I ran an out and back and with little or no shade....hope I can run 13.1 in a month!?????

Hey Everyone!  I am back from my birthday trip to Kauai and must say we had a great time.  I ate lots of bday cake and now need to get back to my good ole eating habits and will be doing so with the help of a few challenges!!   I am so close to my goals for this month that I can taste it and while I know I will meet my strength and running goals (bike is already met), the pool is not helping my swim goals.  I guess it's a good thing I went low on those to begin with.  Anyway, the pool has been closed due to "defication" and it "might" be open tomorrow.  If not, I just might have to suck it up and go face the big bad reef in the OW!

as for the deficated pool.  ewwww.  but i can totally sympathize.  it happens about once a day at our community pool.  ewww.  ewww.  ewwww.

correct that....i'll have a somewhat modified schedule next week. 

my brother invited us up to camp for Labor Day weekend to hang out and boat.  YAHOOOOOO!

im unfamiliar w the roads/trails up there, but id LOVE it if i can get in a run (even a short one...) its SOOOOO PRISTINE.

and the LAKE.  manohpete.  glorious to boat on.  you might even catch me out with the kids doing a OWS

its all good!

Got my commute in again and will run tonight so all will be good today.  Now I just have to find a dry 30 miles this weekend and my commute on Monday will put the bike 100%.  Run might sneak over 100% but not much.

Might get another swim/ST tonight to put that up a little high also.

hope you had a great time! I am sooo  jealous that you went there...but even more that you live in Hawaii! want to switch for a few months time???? we arent in a bad area either...but cant go snorkelling here...Water is TOO DURN COLD!!! ALWAYS!!!

defication...GROSS! wonder how they discovered this defication!? hoping not like I did once when I was a kid diving for pennies!!!!! was rather grossed out when the penny was really squishy!!!! is that TMI!!!??? needless to say, I did no more diving for money!!! haha

Everyone have a great weekend - train your hardest and congrats on completing the challenge!

I came into the plan waaaay late...counted backwards and that is where I am...my HM is Oct 4th...not a whole lot of time to get me where I need to be...and I think that is why Im a TAD concerned about my finish! but will crawl if I have to!

as for the September challenge...no one seems to want to run one! sooo what about you???? I think you would be a great challenge leader!!!

and if you try the old reverse psychology on me....not gonna work ~ haha

I got my bike ride in this afternoon -- yay!  That means I'm at 100% for swimming, biking, and running this month.  Does that mean I can coast through the weekend?

I'm excited to start my half marathon training on Monday too.  My half isn't until Nov 21st, so I'm going to start with week 1.  But... I'm probably going to do more distance on the LSD day than what it says for the early weeks.  Go Hal's gals!

Are you doing the womans 1/2 mary in Florida?  I'm thinking about it.

Congratulations on hitting 100% on everything.  Do a couple extra this weekend and bring up our overall team percentage.  You can do it.  I know you can.
