Looks like a rough hump day for everyone. Here is my tale of woe. I felt my left shoulder pop in the shower this morning and then felt pain whenever I turned my head to the left. So I figure no swimming. When I get to work, the morning guard is sick and she schedules to work a double shift. Since I'm not working out, I take her shift too. Then my boss comes in at noon and asks how late I can stay because he has stuff he needs me to finish. So I got home about 5 minutes before the kiddos, with more work to do tonight because I didn't get everything finished. And today is kid activity day. Daughter has dance from 4-5:15 and son has karate from 4:45-5:30. Some days are just crazy.

That shoulder thing.... Ooooh, I cringed just reading it.

HCS5QA - 2007-12-13 9:39 AM Wow it seems like everyone has had an interesting and rough morning. Funny how that works that we all seem to have issues today. I had some last night that led into this morning. I'm ready for a six pack, after I swim tonight. Hope everyone's day gets better.

Id like to be able to pick up a six pack on the way home... but probably not the kind you mean... (actually you must have the kind of six pack Im after... from all that ab work youve been doing!)

I know what your talking about. LOL I'm working on it. Give it time, not just yet. Thanks for the inspires i needed to smile this morning.

Well I am shameless... and Im sure you are totally underestimating what you look like!

Yeah - POST A PIC, HECTOR!

It's been a long time since we've had Tri Hottie pics on Nibbins.

Speaking of 'finding yourself' in this pursuit of endurance sports, I'm beginning to think more and more than I may just do 'part' of a tri as a relay team each year (there's always someone who can swim) and mix century rides with run races and that's who I am.

Duathlons are going to be won always by people who can run like the wind. I can't. So what's the point of banging your head against the wall?

Hey Spokes,

I think you've finally convinced yourself of something!

I don't care how slow I swim, I'll do tri's until I can't do any of the individual sports.

Kitty litter is fairly heavy. Would probably be expensive to send it to Sydney.

He'd be much better off sending you something like a gold watch.

To see how far you can push it!

Seriously, it's not all about being the fastest on course (although that is fun). It is about being the best duathlete YOU can be. Do some relays. They are fun. I did one this year after my HIM and it was a blast!

I like the black cherry almond ones. Also mint brownie isn't bad. I practically lived off of Cliff bars last spring. They are finally starting to sound appealing again.

Why not both the watch AND the earrings?

Even combined, they'd weigh FAR less than a bag of Kitty Litter.

Hi Gang...

Missed y'all today.  Skiied this mornin' but was so cold I stayed in after lunch (not only my toes were going numb, but my fingers were starting to hurt too).  Tried to get some work done, but would have much prefered hangin' out w/ y'all.

Well, I've got two hours (oops 1.5 hrs) to get all my work done so I don't have to come in tomorrow.

COLD? It's um, still 69 F here. (Or 20.5 C - since Cat likes that scale better. LOL)
