toddg - 2009-09-21 11:50 AM Happy Monday morning team! Pretty quite in here. How was everyone's weekend training?

Great!  20-mile run completed last Saturday.  Felt good.  Was able to keep my heart rate down (140ish).

Morning team. Got my run for the done early. Might hit the gym for a quick strength workout during lunch, then it's off to the LBS to pick up my bike from service.

I am swimming today as it's so nice out and they haven't covered the pool yet at the gym.

I have an Oly this weekend, so tapering somewhat.  Getting a knee brace too so I can run a little easier.

Wish I'd picked hiking over running though!

Morning team. Picked up my bike yesterday and the gear train is nice and quiet with the new chain. Didn't have time to get a ride in this morning so will do that after work tonight. Lunch time swim scheduled as well.

Got a swim, bike, and run in today. Swim at lunch, then a brick bike and run in the evening. All goals at 100%, today's swim finished the last one I needed.

Got out at 5:15am this morning for the long bike ride.

Supposed to drop from a high 103 to 78 on Wednesday so looks like the last day of September will be finished with the lasting heat here. Then I can start complaining about being cold

I've got  a lunch hour swim planned, then a bike/run brick tonight. Slept in this morning as it was 30+ mph winds and didn't feel like riding in the cold/dark.

Done for the month!  Exceeded all my goals...helps to be on a team and accountable...

Thanks for the example and leadership Todd!

Tail end of the tri season, full transition into marathon training:
4150 yds. swim
52 miles bike
132 miles run (surprised myself!)

Good luck team!  Still 12 hours left.

Swim session done.

Now just hoping the winds die down a bit for the evening so I don't get blown off the road on the ride tonight.
