I met my goal today! 2 hours 10 minutes that was a struggle throughout then went back out and did 1 hr 50 minutes that was a lot easier. First day I have ever reached 4 hours of biking!

Keep it up guys! 6 Days left after today.

All right, one down. I broke 200 today. At 206, 52mi to go. Wife has marathon tomorrow (day dedicated to her), and I am going to GA for work Mon and Tue. No biking for the next three days So I have Wed, Thurs and Fri to make my goal. My commuting is 16mi round trip so that puts me at 48mi, gotta pick up 4mi somewhere. Will happen...

Okay people. It's crunch time. Four people have completed their goals but we have an equal number that are struggling a bit more. Inspire them please! On a more serious note, if you are pretty sick or injured please PM me and we can figure out goal adjustment according to the spirit and rules of the challenge.

Its coming down to the wire here. Looks like im goign to have to put a few miles in on Friday to meet my goal. UNLESS...xterratri, aka Lynne (my training partner) does our 50 miler on Friday instead of Sunday!! Then I'll be good and over my goal!
Anywho...its been fun, good luck with the last couple of days.

I should hit my goal this evening. If not, I have another ride scheduled for Friday that will put me over the top.

We currently have 8 people at 100% and our overall completion % is 86.36. There are only a few people that out of reach of being able to finish their goals so our overall should be quite good as long as everyone does that last little push. Advantage of large team- one or two people won't kill our average. Disadvantage of large team- increased risk that there will be someone who can't complete their goal due to illness, injury, dropping off the face of BT.

Go Big East! Just keep riding, riding, riding!

Lynne

Dangit!!! My ride last night has me .27 mi short. I thought for sure an hour ride would have put me over. I guess I took it too easy, but I'm sure I'll find time to get in a .27 mile ride

Well - I should be able to just barely meet my goal tomorrow. Just in the nick of time. I'd be done if I didn't get the cootties for a week...

As of this evening we are at 94% with 14/25 people 100% done. Almost everyone can make their goal and I need to get clarification on the injury/illness rule for the one person who can't.

I know mperdue will make her goal because I'm 'dragging' her out again tomorrow to do the weekend long ride and it will be ~50 miles on top of the 27 we did today that she will get logged. Hopefully it will be her first ride on her new bike, a real pretty QR. BTW, I'm blaming the fact that it will look like I sandbagged my goal when I end up at over 350 miles rather than the 250 I put in on her.(And the weather forecast and our exam schedule that made us move the weekend 50 from April to March). It means I'll only get 400 rather than 450 miles for April unless I lengthen my outdoor rides as I have a tendency to do and why I'm already over goal. Ooops.

Just keep riding, riding, riding! Go Big East!

Crap, when I figured out my goal for the month I did not have my whole month's plan. My training plan was under my challenge goal but I had hoped to make up some time as the weather improved..didn't happen.  I did two running races including my first 1/2 which cut out long rides on certain weekends.

After yesterdays very long training day on a regular work day (over 3 hours, all I did was work, train, eat, pick up my son at midnight), I'm feeling quite sore today. I did ride 1:24 yesterday extra.

Today is scheduled as a rest day as I have a pretty stout training weekend. As much as I want to finish my bike challenge time, I don't think it would be wise as my body is craving rest. Sorry guys...not going to make it...first challenge I have made my goal

My commute into work got me the mileage to meet my goal. Actually, the short ride I did this morning before I realized I forgot my gloves got me to my goal
