Trainers are awesome, I am planning on 25 miles inside tonight, 50 miles outside tommorow on the road, hope there are no dogs this time, I do prefer my bike in one piece!

I got in some more today. I've entered my info in the spreadsheet. I hope to get out and ride again tomorrow since the weather here is so beautiful this weekend. I'll have to work it in around the Tennessee basketball game though.

REMINDER!!! Week 1 of challenge finishes on Sunday - PLEASE make sure your team is updated for week 1 by the end of the day Monday as I will be trying to have an update posted for the challenge by the time the USA wakes up on Tuesday morning.

If your team is using google spreadsheet I will be logging on and grabbing your week 1 totals from there... if your team is using another method or reporting please let me know in the team leaders thread and post the results there.

Update will include:

- General challenge gossip from all teams

- the % of goal achieved by team

- Any major individual achievements mentioned in the team threads

Thanks for your help

Cat

Yeah, I'm not doing so good with the spreadsheet either.  Can someone enter my whopping 45.26 miles?

Did a running race today.  I sucked.  Check out the race report if you want more details.  It'll be up by Monday morn.  Cheers everyone!

Hey Dee,

that took me to the NC forum page.

LOL, that was the last link that I copied for someone in the Welcome forum! I gave them directions on getting to the NC forum. Guess it didn't "take" when I copied the Stay Puft spreadsheet link.

OK. Try this:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=puhAA5NRKHA2pwrtQc_0Acg&hl=e...

Yeah, that should work better.

(I've corrected the link in my previous post.)

O.K., so now LJR's new nickname is 'Cockroach.'

ALMOST did the bike commute this morning.  It was 30 out, so just on the borderline of having perfect conditions for all the ice puddles to start melting...water on top of ice...a good mix for disaster...

53 minutes on the trainer this morning...3.52/7 hrs (50% of goal)...I may need to bump my goal up a bit...

Hi guys!  Just a note on the spreadsheet.  The weekly columns are cummulative miles/minutes/hours.  If you just put in the numbers for each week, the spreadsheet will not add them all together...at least I'm not seeing it in the formulas.

Each weekly column looks like it still needs to be TOTAL miles/minutes/hours to that point.

Dee/Cat, slap me if I'm wrong on this...

spokes - 2008-03-12 7:42 AM Sal - 'almost' doesn't count except in horseshoes, hand grenades and nuclear weapons...

Heh...another pansy morning for me...thermometer read 32...I should've hopped on the bike this morning, but after hearing a few wipe-out stories this week, and thinking to myself 'I really need a new Super Flash,' I bagged it and took the coward's mode of transportation to work...

Got some commuter time in on the bike yesterday!  Yeah for me!  The wind was blowing hella hard on my way home.  Oh god!  On the short little "cliff" that I have to go up on the way home, I had an insane headwind!  I really doubted my ability to crank up it.......but I made it!  It was a tough ride home.  I'm running today!  Cheers everyone!

Not as much time on the bike this week for me (I have a 12k race on Saturday), but should hit the 3 hour mark by week's end. Next week I'll pick it back up with bike commuting.

Happy training!
