Hey Everyone - I think I have beat the majority of the cold I had over the weekend. Didn't do much training but I got 1 hour walks in both days. Something is better than nothing - spent most of the weekend in bed. I however, have found out that I am allergic to the fragrance or the soap they use to wash my hotel sheets so I am  battling quite the allergic reaction. Nothing major - the legs itch and are red with a rash but hopefully it will be gone in a few days.

I will try to get a run in today to help the team. I had 6 points last week - going for 6 again this week.

PT Freaks notes – Chapter 7 - (weekend highlilghts)

Mel (Chartierm22) – will from now and forever more be known as Queen Temptress .  If you didn’t see the pics she posted of the cookies she made, it is worth going through the thread to find them!  I’m certain we had many team members with damaged monitors because they tried to reach through to grab one – maybe some were actually successful, because only hours later there were only 4 cookies left!  Andy’s reaction was priceless

Chris (Chrisrunzs26)- did her first P90x workout with her hubby, sounds like it was a tough workout!

Stacie (Dimplespoo)- is not so sure about the nicknames Phil, is coming up with for her and she may well be plotting a bit of revenge……….

Magda (Eurydice79) – is on a mission to transform her house from an old lady house to one with a modern look – the entire house has walls painted pink and with a lovely flower trim (now why would she want to change that? – LOL!)  She had a great weekend and went to a fun party (check out the pic in her blog!)

Phil (1stTimeTri)- in an effort to help Beth and others think about the difference between a ½ IM and a full IM, Phil offered these words of wisdom

Jenn (Jenni4) – joined the gym this weekend, she’s ready to start spinning!

Cat (kaqphin) – thank goodness Cat has been getting in lots of points, we don’t want Travis to have to pull out the boots

Beth (lastcall2003)- is still trying to figure out how to figure out when BOTTOMPAGE and TOPPPAGE is coming up .

Kristin (LazyMarathoner) – Had a some live entertainment right outside her window Saturday night – two women fighting –some people would pay good money to see that .  She volunteered at a race this weekend – she has some good tips for all of us to remember if we ever live in Manhattan and volunteer for a race in the Bronx

Kendra (Pipscweek) – stopped by to say HI!  In case you missed her post –

Rudy (Rudedog55) – set up a Facebook account, and is looking for friends (not sure that sounded the way I intended it to ).  He had a rainy weekend, but still managed to spend some quality time with his bike

Andy (RevBigDog)- poor, poor Andy is suffering from a chest cold and has declared that

Ted (TeddieMao)- had a great race but a rough weekend - .  Give the man some luv!

Travis (tlnewman)-  Received 4 awards this weekend!  Congratulations!!!  He did promise to take pics at the Marines Birthday Ball Saturday night I wonder if he noticed that I ignored the ‘for the right price’ comment .  Sadly he was not able to take pics – he was very busy saving the day (or should I say the night).  Things were quite a mess, rooms double booked and all sorts of stuff – guess who volunteered to run the whole thing next year?

Yanti (Triaya)- popped in to say hi - always a pleasure!

David (Wraith28k)- is still alive!  He lost his internet connection – thank goodness he got his connection back!

I'll have you know there isn't a drop of color in my hair. I haven't colored it in about 13 years and won't until it goes gray. So say what you will smart azz, it's blonde. Although on the dark side maybe.

No worries, our relationship has been "approved"  It's all good!!!

Yuck.  That's too bad and is NOT fun.

At least you won't have to worry about the creeping hairline like I do.  Oh, I got my first grey hair when I was about 33/34, sometime after our first son was born, heading to the in-laws during a snowstorm.
