There are BOYZ in Nibbs! Ooooooooh. And hello all you hot girlies! I *heart* boys... even though they sometimes mess you around and send mixed signals! Haven't we gone over this already, men are evil.... hmmm seems like there is conflicting evidence That's the thing. They're not so much evil as contrary. And completely unable to see how good the things are right in front of them! Now you are learning. Yup, some men/boys do need to have things pointed out to them and even then they can't see it. I hate swimming in lakes. kns57 - 2009-02-13 1:54 PM kaqphin - 2009-02-12 8:46 PM The Harbour swim sounds awesome. kns57 - 2009-02-13 1:39 PM I'm going to try and run a whole 5K this Saturday. I know that is small potatoes for some, but for me it's big. I just wish I had someone to pace with. Noone I know is running this race. Way to go! Ive never run a whole 5k!!! I had the option of doing one this weekend but Ive opted out at this point... I think the triathlon on March 8th and *maybe* the 1k or 2k Sydney HArbour swim on MArch 1st.... just found out about it and Im kind of keen... Not sure if doing that kind of race pace open water swimming is a bad idea a week out from a race. If the weather is good: http://www.sydneyharbourswim.com/ Ive never done it but just the location makes it seem worthwhile... even if it is a kind of icky place to swim due to all the boat traffic etc I imagine the water isnt 100% - pretty good because of all the wildlife etc that lives there but....

None of it seems daunting enough though... or far enough out... I guess thats part of it coming to the end of hte season... The reason the last race worked so well for me was that I had the goal 4 months in advance... EVERYONE knew I was doing it AND I knew there would be witnesses to the race... The OWS is no biggie to me other than a bit of fun, the tri a week later is half the distance of the last race (except for the swim) so thats really a bit of fun too... I think I need to scare myself again |
