Speaking of delightful ...

I am eating warm peanut butter cookies at 4 a.m.

That I just baked

Because I am Yanti.

And Suicide just stuck her nose near one of them ... that cat really lives up to her name.

I just came up with the 5 stages of a programming project:
1-Excitement that you actually have something to work on.
2-Confusion as you try to figure out what it is that you're supposed to do.
3-Frustration as you try to get help but no one will respond to your calls/emails.
4-Panic as you realize that even though you weren't given a deadline, it needs to be finished and tested in the next day or two because the job is scheduled to run soon. This is also the stage where a totally unrelated part of the program blows up making it impossible to finish the project in a timely manner.
5-Acceptance that this "short project" will sit on your outstanding project list for another month while waiting for the monthly job to run again.

Something that doesn't make sense:
We have a huge parking lot with six cars in it. They plow the entire parking lot but can't shovel the short sidewalk that leads to the door.

HA! In TAN someone just said they drooled on their keyboard (over my cookies)

I said me too, but mine had little bits of crushed peanut in it.

Oooh I could send my cats to you, too! They eat anything! Just give them any and all goodies you have, they will take them right off your hands so you completely avoid temptation.

My cats eat SALAD and BEETS, fercryinoutloud.

Seriously?!  I can't imagine what your litter box looks like...  Wink

Although my dumba$$ cat licked my salsa bowl last night...  I wonder what else he might eat for me?

This reminded me of the pepper thread I read in CoJ recently. It would be fun to mix up a special batch of spicey salsa for the cat to try. I'm laughing at the possible reactions of a cat as it eats the salsa and... uh... uses the litter box. Yes, I have mischievous streak.
