I'm with you. I've got about 4500 more to put in, but that should be done by Thursday! I've put in more pool time this month than... well... let's just say it's more.

    Noreen, are you out there?

3 swims left for me.  I'm planning on 3K today, 2800 on Thurs, and a final 1700 on Friday to meet my goal.

We're in the final week!  Keep hitting the pool and finish strong!

    Hey guys,

Yeah, I'm still here more or less. I haven't worked out since the last time I posted. Frown I got the damn cold/flu virus again and this time it hit me hard and over the holidays *sniff* No swimming for me I'm afraid for this week and maybe most of next due to my sinus infection. Sorry to let you guys down. Sounds like most of you are holding your own....I'm proud of ya! Laughing

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pull, we kick, we stroke, and swim,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We raise a glass for the Swashbucklers’ win,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

These have't been e-mailed to Renee yet, so please let me know if there are any updates/corrections.  jryals hasn't logged in since 12/20, and Chucky hasn't logged in since 12/19.  Hope everything is ok.

Congrats to everyone that met their goals and to those that challenged themselves!

I made one last update to my yardage (56,833 yards - goal was 60K).  I came up one swim session short of making my goal, but with the holidays and travleing (serious roadtrip - 46 hours in the car!!), I just couldn't get it done.  I exceeded my previous single month goal by a good chunk and really felt like the swim challenge made me dig deep.  Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year.

    • pippen (Goal = 22,000 yds):  22,200 yds   100%

Ya did great Danny!  60K was a huge goal and you put in some big swim workouts.  3K is about the max I can handle in a workout...I can't imagine doing 5K+!

OK--anybody up for renewing for the January challenge???? I am, so let me know. But I'm going to post it in a new thread so we won't be confused. Follow me over there, if you want to pick up the new challenge.

I'm gonna up from 26,000 to 30,000. Now I just made my 26,000--but I have great confidence that I can do the 30K. Also, the challenge got me to the pool more than anything else ever has!! (o:

I'm going to have to skip the Jan challenge.  Between work, a marathon, and ramping up for IMAZ, I can't guarantee that I would be able to get all my swims in.

Maybe a Feb swim challenge????  Or maybe a Feb challenge that included all three disciplines??
