Name: Lynne

Age: 36 on the 15th!! YAY!

Location: Seattle, Wa but I am from Scotland originally. OCH AYE!

How long i've been swimming for: 34 years. I started early. I was part of a swim team, masters team and also a lifeguard. Swimming is my ultimate hobby. It's really the only thing I am good at. Except talking.

Favourite comment about swimming: To my husband "The smell of chlorine turns me on"  His reply: "You mean, like sexually?"

Favourite swimmer: Has to be Duncan Goodhew for me!!! I remember watching him swim in the olympics and being the only one without a cap!

snoopy is cute you want me to log your workouts for you on the spreadsheet?

Actually, I just put them in (I don't have the privilege of using a Mac), but thanks!

Oh, and as for the vital statistics - I'm 26, married to an active duty Marine, no kids yet except a very spoiled beagle named Bandit. Umm...live in PA right now (Scranton, in fact - any Office fans here?) but DH will be reassigned by the USMC soon so we'll be moving next summer, probably to CO (or maybe VA). Had swim lessons as a kid and lifeguarded at a water park one summer during college but never swam regularly til this past May while rehabbing from my first knee surgery. No favorite swimmer, really.

Hey snowmen - I'm out for a few days due to some health issues/doctor's orders, but it should be a short-lived break and hopefully I'll be swimming again by next week at the very latest.

Oh, I also got the spreadsheet as a read-only document when I logged in, but I was able to update it using sappho's login into from page 3 of the thread (thanks!)

And lets see...

Name: Caitlin
Age: 20
Location:  I live in Northern Virginia but go to school in Delaware
Swimming for:  16 years?  I swam competitively every summer ages 6-18, and since then I've been in the pool off and on.  If nothing else, I LOVE swimming - I'm not fast but it's the one tri discipline that I'm completely comfortable with.

Hiya Snowmen!

Sappho (as you can see my meeting still hasnt started) I have just been speaking to Donto and he will get an 'official' spreadsheet to you for collecting team data probably in the next 24 hours.

I will start a Team Leaders thread as well for the check in at the end of the week... the reporting week starts Sunday and it would be great if we can have all the info in by Monday Pm please!

If you forget i will be posting reminders!

Happy Swimming

Donto and Cat

I mean to add. I am off between Xmas and New Year. I don't have computer access at home either. I might not have a car either so going to my library might be out of the question. Would it be ok to ask my friend, Leslie to post my amounts here in my absence?

Sappho can you update your spreadsheet for me?

To Dec 3rd:  300m

To Dec 10:    5300m

I'd like to revise my goal total too??  I can't be this damn close to finishing after week one??

Is it possible to revise my total to 15000m???The way swim squad's going at the moment we're doing more like 2500m per session than 2km.
