From every measure OTHER than finishing, I failed yesterday. Big Time. The only good thing that came out of this season was I can run a half under 2:00. I still can't swim worth crap (not that I worked on it at all, because it would have failed even worse than the marathon), I tossed my bike out the window. Its not been a good year. I really didn't accomplish anything except wearing out running shoes. Scott - Can you climb out the window, reclaim the bike, and ship it to me? 'Cause I'll certainly take it if you don't want it. If you really failed that you "failed" (despite us all telling you otherwise).... why not rectify the situation by signing up for ANOTHER marathon? That would give you another chance to get the time that you'll looking for. (I'm so helpful, aren't I?) |
