Kidney stone, dude??  Get that taken care of - they aren't good and, just ask my wife, the pain is MUCH worse when trying to pass them than it is giving birth (I wouldn't know, but I wouldn't question her).

Christmas:
for me - much joy watching Da' Boyz open their gifts.
for wife - a card and scented candle, since we promised we wouldn't get each other anything and we spent mega bucks on the new furniture set to finish the basement.
Da' Boyz - lots of cool things, but the biggest gift was the Wii!
Taz the pup - his own rubber fire hydrant that one can put treats in which entertains him for an hour.

Awesome gift. T.I.T.S. (time in the saddle) is what counts these days. The base you build in the trainer will really help come spring.

i just bought myself my Christmas present.  I had a very good month at work in November, so the Mrs. let me buy a Forrunner 305 with part of the comission.

YAY ME.

You'll love the 305. I've had mine for a year and love it.

They have really come down in price in the last year.

Did my first workout of the year (even though I have a sore throat for the last 6 days and will see the Dr. later this afternoon) - 1100 yards swimming! I need to focus on the swim this month for the Jan. challenge I'm in. Pledged out 20,000 yards for the team, so sticking with it!

How's everyone's New Year starting out?

Got on the treadmill today so I am building towards my 100 miles in January. I am hoping to get outside for a run on Friday when the girls go back to school and it is supposed to be "warm"

If it hits 50 I''m out there as well, just on principal alone.

OK team..what's on tap for today.

Me: starting with a 6 mile tready run. If it feels good I'll up it to 8. If still feeling good I'm going for 10. If I hit 10 and am not hurting too bad we'll push for 13.1.

All depending on how the next 8 hours go

I really wish I could train full time.

I had planned on a 6 mile tread run but got a sharp pain in my shin after 4 minutes.  I got the same pain a couple of weeks ago but nothing since.  Able to hop back on for another 6 minutes after some elliptical.

Tomorrow plan is to hit the pavement when the girls are in school. 32 degrees baby!

Wanted to run, but the track is getting resurfaced or something, so did a stationary for 15 min. for 3.5 miles.  I hate those things.

Swim tonight.
