After TransIowa you could just continue biking until you get to Phoenix. You may want to be a safe distance away from your wife when you tell her your plan anyway. You can hang out in AZ and find out all the good spots for us to check out. I'm sure there is a bike shop or 2 around that you could get a job at so you don't have to eat out of the dumpsters behind restaurants and grocery stores. You could probably even save up enough after 2 or 3 months to buy a toothbrush and some clean underoos! I am just SO thinky sometimes!!! Ann(e) - that is Genius - I will be working at Tuscon Cycles by the campus - sweet shop and cool people run it! How am I going to transport 4 bikes with 1 bike - trailer - hmmm - time to ponder. - LOL mines one of the four right GRAVESY? i want my bike there waiting for me all spit and shiny so i can ride the days before and after the race. just saying. I ask him to make me one. His comment - Why didn't you call me from the road and I would have had one ready for you (I was riding 1st of all!). I tell him come on make me a sandwich. So he does after he cut his in half. As he is making me mine I steal one of the halves of his and stuff it in my mouth. He turns around to leave and goes hey???? I look at our dog and blame her while still chewing! We laughed so hard. I offered him half of mine but he didn't want it! Later he made me payback by letting him have my cereal for a snack instead of his. Yes I have my own cereal and they get in trouble for eating it I have an awesome son - just want you all to know That's funny! My kids will blame things on the dogs even if they aren't in the house. |

I'll go check out our mentor site and post bio tonight when I have a minute. I haven't had time for the catch up read and doubt I'll cover all of it. A couple bits before I sign off: I did not get into NYC (sniff sniff). Now have to decide if I want to run via fundraising or shoot for another race. I did hear about one in Phoenix. I plan to wallow in a bit of self-pity before deciding. Just because I don't usually do that sort of thing and feel like trying it out. I am 11 days away from my half. I ran 10 last weekend and the knee was ok. I might actually pull this one off, albeit with no big time goals. AND the child care issue for that weekend is solved, so no kiddos to worry about while running. Queen, my S'bucks has hot chocolate. Come on down to Jersey anytime you get the craving. I will see if they deliver next time I'm in there. Bill, awesome son. I got nothing else at the moment. You guys have fun. I'll be back for the west coast crew and/or night shift. |
