Champion 6656 | Subject: RE: Run your azz off in July Ghoulies!!! So I was talking to my brother this morning... He really likes riding...he is going to destroy. I'm not really surprised at how good he is...I'm fairly certain he is not lying to me either. This is the workout he is doing today: 5km @ 40km/h 1km @ 35km/h 4km @ 45km/h 1km @ 35km/h 4km @ 50km/h 1km @ 35km/h 9km @ 50km/h 1km @ 35km/h 4km @ 50km/h 1km @ 35km/h 4km @ max exertion. Ya...he has been riding for 3 weeks... I'm kind of excited about this change over in sports now...Endurance is definately his calling. So he already has running...and now biking... If he can get swimming together, he is absolutely going to destroy in triathlon...haha Who am I forcing to do some pretty easy (for him) 6hr rides...oh yes...I need to convince him of this...Hopefully I will get faster "training" with him. He even bought me (well probably bought for himself now too) some new SPINERVALS!!! YAAAAA!!!! |

I am getting a headache listening to him go on and on. Another reason I should be wfh today. I hear ya. We got a new guy and he sits in the cube next to mine. He is VERY loud. I just put my earbuds in and turn on some music to try and drown it out as much as I can. |

I can go totally nekkid, or I can go topless. I can only go bottomless if I'm totally nekkid. I'm worried about this part being weird, but am completely comfortable with the full nekkidness thing. Should I be concerned? Nope. I think bottomless is weird. I'm not really a nekkid lounger kind of person (but ok with others that are), but topless would be welcome today. And if Mr. NonStop Loud Talker doesn't take a breath soon, I may go home after my last meeting and make Topless Tuesday official. Tomorrow I will need to bring headphones to work. And I think to send a message, I'll bring the Bose noise canceling pair rather than the discreet buds. |

Its kind of funny (well not really) but we have always wanted what the other one had I think. He wanted to be better at school and I wanted to be better at sports. Its pretty much the most awesome Type A sibling rivalry that has ever existed. I think for a long time though he was really down on himself because in grade school all anyone focused on with him was his grades at school (he had the same teachers as I did) and he just sort of said to himself "whats the point?" and started to act out, etc. It didn't really matter that he was good at sports and he never really had any positive reenforcement outside of the house...but even then, my parents were always on him because of his grades/not doing homework/etc. I think he has finally kind of worked that out now because he is doing it alone and there isn't this constant comparison to me or person checking over his shoulder saying "do this, do that, that's not good enough". He definately ended up with the harder criticism compared to me. For me it was "well your pretty good at sports, but what really matters is school, good for you"...for him it was "well you are phenomenal at sports, but so what? you arn't going to go anywhere in life with those grades?"... Maybe I will see my brother at the Tour in the future? Haha. |

It definitely helps but it has worn off and I forgot to bring it with me to work. My clothes are driving me nuts. I wish I was working from home so I could call it Topless Tuesday. I just read an article on CNN this morning about European nudes and American prudes. You should start a new office trend. What's all this nonsense with wearing clothes all the time. I know personally, I'm tired of doing laundry all the time. Amen. I just worry where they'd make me put all my "flair" if we went nude... |

He even bought me (well probably bought for himself now too) some new SPINERVALS!!! YAAAAA!!!! Don't compare yourself to your brother. You ROCK! Being in med school while doing this makes you ROCK EVEN MORE! Haha. I'm not really comparing myself to him. I'm just saying he is really good. Haha. Life has a funny way of leveling things out. It's great that the two of you have something to share. Life is funny, that's for sure |
