rh8463 - 2010-10-08 12:42 PM Hmmm, ok, better get this thing going if we want to get a few more pages in today...

What are everyones training plans for the weekend?
Personally I have a coaching session for swimming tomorrow (first one, Im hoping it will help me lots and motivate me to work harder at improving my swimming) and then this century ride on Sunday....hopefully the rain will have stopped by then at least!

If I can keep my nose above the health waters, so to speak, and get in some amount of exercise each day, I'll be happy.

rh8463 - 2010-10-08 4:20 PM My bed time wish will be for it to STOP RAINING! I have become such a fair weather runner after moving here. Living in the UK I would run in the rain 75% of the time but in Australia, the slightest hint of rain and I find an excuse to do something else instead...

I just bought a treadmill due to the recent weather

I have a gym membership and its only a 5min walk from me, plus theres mt indoors and so on....
To be honest I usually use the rain as an excuse to go to the gym and do a fun and girly aerobics class of some sort - they are my exercising guilty pleasure.

I can think of lots worse forms of guilty pleasures

I know, as I wrote that I was wondering why on earth it makes me feel guilty! I think its because I might be laughed at by the guys at mt and it wouldn't go with my tough girl image, lol.

Just kick their azzes then if they do laugh at you. Then LAUGH!!!

Good plan!

Also, I'd love to see them try something like step. There are a few guys who can master it but mostly its hilarious when they try the class, I don't think they have the coordination gene that most women have or something....

I just bought a trainer. It was the only one, and the first one, on the island. Sha-zam!!!

Rainy season never quite stopped here in Bali (VERY wonky weather this year) but now it's upon us in full earnest.

Ha ha ha ... I have ZERO coordination when it comes to things like ... step aerobics and dance classes, but for some reason, martial arts makes perfect sense to me.

Supposed to get 2 long swims in, with a long run as well.  Swimming is by far my best leg at the moment and with my next HIM 5 weeks away and thinking of spending the time running and riding instead (which just happens to be my 2 goals for this challenge)

Maybe we should get to page 85, start the second thread and do another 40 pages and see if they notice.

Then they'll think their ahead of us but we'll have in fact lapped them
