Has everyone gotten their medals? They ran out in the last hour of the race, and I STILL don't have mine! They said they sent them all out, and I never got it the first time, and they sent one out again last week, and I STILL dont have my medal. *sigh*

I just spoke to Maria at Ironman and she said that she called the warehouse and was now told that only half the shipment of medals came in and they are waiting for another 100 medals to be shipped to them so they can mail them out.  She sounded very sincere and apologetic.  She said there was an issue from the beginning with the shipment of the medals to Timberman and that is why they ran out of medals.  She said that we should expect to get one in the next couple weeks.
I suppose this is my incentive to not finish at the back of the BOP next yr Wink

Yeah, I heard the same thing. The worst part is that it sounds like there was something intentional in the first order being short. She didnt want to go into it, but it was clear by the awkwardness of how she told the story, that it wasnt just a mistake in the initial order.

The fact that this has happened twice tells me that there's something to the fact that they're expanding beyond their capabilities. Plus I hear there were so many problems with IMLP that they had to divert calls to the race director.

Hey Timbercrew! Hope everyone is enjoying the offseason.

Apologies in advance for this off-topic post, but I could use a favor.

Our school is in the running for a Pepsi Refresh grant for 25K for a music lab.  Top 10 ideas get funded each month - we are #9.

Help us win by texting a vote - text 101338 to 73774.  Should be a free text in most cases.

Voting ends tomorrow.

I normally wouldnt post anything like this, but hey, I *know* most of you and don't feel too strange asking for help from my tribuddies.
