I'm supposed to know these things because I'm a psychic, but ... really ... I just work as one.

A psychic - really? Ive never met anyone psychic before. I'm not really a believer I'm afraid.
I'm a scientist and I don't like to believe anything before its proven to me or I have seen it with my own eyes....
Microbiologist/immunologist to be more precise. I spend my days in a lab, writing papers and writing grants, desperately trying to get funding.

Ok, I have just realised what the time is, its pouring and my OH can give me a ride home now if I leave a bit early (I usually cycle), so I'm going to take the offer.
So I'm going to have to love you and leave you all and I don't get online much at the weekends as I'm not home much for starters so I promise I'll make up for it next week.

Have a fabulous weekend one and all!

Wah ha ha ... been there done that. I happen to have a coupla degrees in biology and chemistry ...

I'm not just "not really a believer," I'm a complete skeptic. However, other people seem to think I have a gift and want to pay me for it, so who am I to refuse?

Have a great one!

No matter, the Ghoulies neither train nor post (much) on weekends.

cottoneyes - 2010-10-07 6:11 PM So the question I had for the team after riding into work this morning was do Magpies live in other countries around the world and do they get just as viscious every Spring?

Yep, we have lots of magpies in the US too and they're the same everywhere.

I'm going to have to take off as well, been trying to get my managers attention all afternoon to finish off the report but it's become home time for me.  So time to get back into some lycra and do the other half of todays biking

I wonder if you have run into 'Pathogen Pam' who was my microbiology lecturer at Gatton uni in Qld when I was there.  Poor thing failed me on my assignments, even though I wrote 3 other assignments for class mates and they all passed easily.  I guess when you say at the start of each semester "I will fail half of you" you need to do it somehow.

Catch up time. I spent the day doing things around the house.
My belly is still a little off but I got my run in. It wasn't as much fun as yesterday's was, but it is still a nice night. Then when I got home someone had broken a beer bottle on my sidewalk. I feel the same way about cleaning up beer bottles as I do about cleaning up dog crap. I don't have a dog and I don't drink so why do I have to clean up after someone else?

TriAya - 2010-10-07 9:00 PM CASSEROLE TOPPAGE!

Almost as good as Pop Tart toppage.

My 4 year old has got me on a poptart binge lately. Haven't had one in a long time and my wife bought some for my son and crap I can't stop eating them.

This happens with Pop Tarts. It is perfectly normal.

Maybe we didn't get real poptarts when they were on the normal supermarket shelves here or something, I just couldn't get into them

"real" Pop Tarts in my opinion are:

1. Kellogg's
2. Frosted
3. toasted
4. served with milk.

Definitely the best way to have pop tarts. The most important thing is toasted.
