Did I mention that I love getting the house ready to celebrate the holidays? Tomorrow is the big decorate for Christmas day! I've always done it the Friday after Thanksgiving since I have an extra day. I love it now that my kids are older and they can bring all of the stuff down from the attic My son is dying to get up in the attic and "help". He's nine. |

I like decorating the house, too... but I get seriously sad when all the stuff has to be put away because the house feels so empty right afterwards. Thanks Mila! I know - I always hate that part. Did you have a nice day? Yuppers, it was lovely... family, football, food, friends... perfection! Oh, and as if that weren't enough, we also found Speedy the hamster who escaped from her "habitat", as my 7 year old calls the cage, a few days ago. Tonight I discovered that Speedy is aptly named . I worked up a sweat trying to catch her. How do I log that? |

Master 1870 Fort Worth | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) IV max - 2007-11-22 6:08 PM Darn, here I was taking all your expert advice. LOLHCS5QA - 2007-11-22 7:30 PM max - 2007-11-22 3:47 PM well I showed some remarkable restraint at dinner time. Just a normal serving of turkey (OK a little extra there), veggies, stuffing. But I offset it all with 4 miles of walking and a good hard 1:40:00 on the trainer before dinner! Hope everyone had a great day. Hi Cat & Heather & Mila..I see you're all still online!!
Alright Max, you are the man. I'll work mine off at the cove tomorrow morning. Taking your advice and heading back. I did buy a swim cap so it's not so cold on my head. i also mapped out the bouy's so I know the distances. You da man!!!! Ooops, but don't take my advice on any swimming technique. Anyone who has been around here for a while knows that my swim practice consists solely of the 2 minute warmup before the race. This year I swam a 1/2 Ironman in June with my only practice swim being a race the previous August!!! LOL, and my June swim was within 1 minute of my normal time for 1/2 IM distance. Why practice? That's my philosophy!!

Ok maybe the fire that started in the backyard was not good but it was comical. |

I have to figur out how to set up the goals with my coach this week...Making it through the set without an argument is still high on the list followed by some technique stuff, don't know if he's throwing in a total yardage for the month or a time to beat in a distance is in there yet either haha I have already started to leak them... but basically it will be the same as the run challenge... based on either tiime or distance... Donto - where are yuo? is this ok with you?

Master 1870 Fort Worth | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) IV lastcall2003 - 2007-11-22 9:17 PM Short version. I've been married 20 years, separated the last three months, while she figures out what's missing in her life. She had two kids prior to our marriage which I raised as my own, no problem there. She flew out here with my daughter from Texas where she is staying for thanksgiving, no problem there. Out of nowhere and I'm not sure why as of yet, her ex-husband of obviously 20 years ago showed up at my doorstep with his family, very awkward. I assume to see his kids that I have raised and he has not been around for so i buried the hatchet in my mind and played the good host. At this point i don't care since I overall had a decent time and they get back on a plane on Sunday. Oh yeah as I was cleaning up in the kitchen and assumed the adults were watching in the back, the kids kicked the fire pit over. Yup had to run out back and put the fire out.HCS5QA - 2007-11-22 11:15 PM lastcall2003 - 2007-11-22 9:11 PM Hi Hector!!! Did you have a good day? Sorry i was catching up on post from earlier. NP - I'm doing some catching up as well oh, no - a fire in the backyard? and yes, family does have a way of making things interesting - sometimes good interesting and sometimes not so good interesting - LOL My plan is to spend the day at the beach tomorrow, starting with some more swimming in the wet suit and followed by some surfing. This will be a solo affair with no family invited. Did I tell you that I'm looking forward to Monday. |
