Yes, it's meant to be a competition, but face it --> Life does get in the way sometimes. We'd all love to hit our goals, but goals are meant to be a "reach," and sometimes we just don't get there each time. That said, Lynne - if you've been sick and unable to train, have you asked Cat about adjusting your goal? sleep....what is that? and do you ever get off that motor bike....you are always on it rounding that same corner...that has to be hard on your knees!

and for that matter....where have you been!? if you are seeing me online all the time...why have you been such a stranger! especially since we had the pleasure of meeting....or should I take it personally!? mister talk all the time in person while here in the SF Bay area, but have to pull teeth to get you to respond when online!?!! at least your wife was busy typing...or is this Kendra, now!

that is mighty good of you! LOL! I am sure that when you are at home, you can not get a word in edge-wise! but I can understand, when you work in IT, last thing you want to do is touch a keyboard...and TYPE!!!!

Ahem! I'm going to pretend that I didn't read any of the last few pages. I thought I had problems with my children! And CHR15 what were you on with all those posts. Something dodgy put in those rockcakes? You could have done a few more miles instead & caught me up

I asked Cat late Sat. if she would let me 'do' Lynne's remaining hours for her but it appears that it's not in the spirit of the challenge. I must admit the thought of doing 5 1/2 hrs today was a little daunting. Even at 15mph that would have been over 82 miles. I just wanted to be her knight in shining armour (Peep Jousters, get it?. Oh never mind). It was a gloriously sunny morning today & I would have been up for it, fancied doing the 100 as well. But without the challenge I wasn't motivated. Went shopping instead & only hopped on the bike around 2pm when we got back. Managed three grueling hills 2h 56m ~ 44 miles. It appears that I didn't log Sat's ride. Finished with 30 & 1/2 hours and 476 miles.

TBH on reflection my target wasn't high enough from the get go. But I just ride as the fancy takes me & weather permitting. This month's total is the same in time & mileage as Jan & Feb put together, so it's thanks to you guys for motivating me to get out there.

Love you all, not the boys of course I'm not queer! & have really enjoyed being part of the team. The pics. were great, as was the company. Thank you ALL. xxx

I took a short spin to the post office and back...woo hoo...a whole 5 miles!! ok time to head for them there hills! GO JOUSTERS!!!
