Thanks! yeah - Nov and Dec were some pretty big swim months - I think I even did at least one 4k+ workout

let me just say that the smell of chlorine was with me all the time during those months - LOL

So, tell us more about the upcoming race?

King of the Hill sprint in Tupelo, MS on August 2nd.  1/2 mile one by one start, 22 mile bike, and a four mile run.  I did a sprint of this distance last year in Sandestin, but I'm much more prepared this year.  I need to map the bike course out, but it supposedly holds true to the name of the tri.  I might not take Marie.  Mooch may get a shot at this one, but we'll see.  This one is definitely just kind of for fun and filler, but I'd like to do well.

I will get to stay with a friend from college, who is in my wedding, and his wife.  They have a four month old that I haven't seen yet, so that'll be cool to do

sounds like a fun race! those are some good distances for a sprint

Of course, the next weekend they are throwing a shower for us LOL.  One weekend I go up there to do a tri, the next weekend I go for a party.  I haven't seen them since the last football game, so I'm ready to go.  Another groomsman of mine lives up there, too, so I'll get to see him and his wife as well.

Mooch's time is coming again soon.  There's a century ride on the 20th that he gets to do.  He's being mighty understanding since he'll get to brag about that one

it is a really fun local race, this will be my third time - it was my first tri ever - *sigh*

Guh... I have three right now.   Heck, by this time next year I plan on having built a single speed, and a buddy of mine wants me to get a mountain bike.  I also liked building Marie so much that I wouldn't mind finding a vintage frame or two and going at it.  Hi I'm, Bill, and I have a bike problem.

Anybody want to buy an '06 Trek 1000?
