Gives me even more appreciation for the sport I think running a SUB-FOUR MARATHON is HOT. Aw, thanks! I'm not feeling so hot now. My legs are like balloons. I was bragging about how I wasn't in pain earlier - um, that has changed! Do you think the anti-oxidant properties in wine will help?!?! I'm most certain that they will! ummmmm, so is the experience after a 1/2 Mary better? - just askin'! Oh yes, SOOOO much better! That's why I love the half-mary. You have to train for it and it's a challenge, but it doesn't beat the hell out of you. Even my long runs up to 20 miles didn't kill me like this. That last 10K makes all the difference. Yay me, Toppage! Edited by LazyMarathoner 2008-11-03 9:50 PM |

I need to edit. No one will want to read it. It's just that it was such a monumental achievement for me that I don't know what to leave out! write what you feel and we will read it - IMHO - the way I look at it, is that race reports are more for the person writing than the people reading You are correct. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have to skim through a report from time to time |

Plus you have to keep in mind that everybody is different. |

Plus you have to keep in mind that everybody is different. Yeah, if you don't train, you will regret it. I feel like the more you train, the less the hurt is after. If I had gotten to do the missed 18s and 20s on my schedule, I would have felt a lot better. But what can you do... |

I spent the weekend painting the house. Have I already mentioned that??? However, probably more importantly, I am working out as planned, even if I haven't had the time to get on here and tell you all about it! Hopefully I'll get more time to chat soon. I'm off to update the spreadsheet

Expert 1158 Chicagoland | Subject: RE: PT Freaks Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge Good morning everyone. No, I haven't been scared off. YET. I am quite impressed with the number of posts, esp. regarding melons which was my minor in college. I too voted, but this being Chicago, I will probably do it again after work. I am still battling a headcold as is my entire family. We are also moving to the 'burbs next month or whenever my wifey tells me. I just pack, that's my job. |
