wgraves7582 - 2009-12-21 10:08 AM So did I miss anything of interest last week and over the weekend?

BTW - we get 20 free pizzas at work for lunch today - I wonder what everyone else is going to eat? Cool

Could you please pass me a slice or two of pepperoni?

No problem.  Mmmmm pizza

Its always nice to be on top for pizza!

Did I stop in TAN by mistake?

I was trying to ignore the comment myself Kim - but you have to admit it is pretty funny when you know the annuendoes that go with Pizza.  Notice how Ann wanted more than 1 serving

Please don't tell me that going back for seconds would be frowned upon Mr. Graves

Don't let him give you any grief Ann.  He was going to keep all 20 for himself, although I'm not sure that sounds like much fun.

Hi Ann! Our shopping is almost all done, but we haven't wrapped anything yet. I'll be starting on that tonight.

iowagander - 2009-12-19 5:50 PM Happy Saturday Ghoulies! I'm sorry I haven't been around the last week and a half or so. I got hit in the face with a big pile of life, and things are finally starting to calm back down a touch.

Our wireless router at home died and I've been very busy cleaning up for Santa's arrival, so getting on the internet here is a pain in the butt. I've also been sick for the last week and a half which is always fun. I'm fairly certain I left half a lung on the sidewalk during my run today but it was worth it to get back on the road. And finally, things at work have been extremely busy. End of year deadlines, never-ending piles of paperwork, and a phone that rings off the hook have made it impossible to catch up with the Village from the office.

The good news is that I'm starting to feel a bit better, and work should be slowing down a bit now that the holidays are here. I still have a lot of work to do to get the house ready, but I'm making progress.

Speaking of which, I need to get going so I can get the kids off eachother's throats and continue my relentless but fruitless attempt at making our family and dining rooms look presentable. Take care everyone, and I'll check back in soon.

well thats just FRIGGIN SUCKTASTIC JOHN.  at least all the sucktastic parts.

but good to see you back in the VILLAGE OF GHOUL, where you are welcomed 'home' with open arms, melon presses and sloppy kisses.

We baked some yesterday while we were waiting for the driveway to get plowed. I need to make some more tonight when I get home, sometime after 7, to bring to work tomorrow.
I have nothing wrapped and I'm not sure when I'm going to do it. Other people's gifts will be easy, wrapping the gifts for the kiddos will be the hard part. I get up at 4:15 every morning but I may have to wrap theirs after they go to bed. I don't forecast a lot of sleep this week.

I agree - wrapping for the kids is the toughest. For us, we usually just wrap their gifts in our room after they're in bed. Unfortunately last year we made the mistake of wrapping everything in one night. I will NOT do that again, so I will be starting the wrapping tonight.

Now I just need to figure out a way to keep the cats away from the gifts so they don't claw anything open accidentally. Any ideas, cat owners?

kcarroll - 2009-12-21 2:23 PM Question for my more tech savvy ghoulies....how do I export my Outlook contacts files from my work laptop to my personal?  I'm good at updating contacts at work, but terrible at home. I've been able to export them to an excel file but not sure how to upload on my home computer.

What program are you using for email at home?

I have an e-mail account on optonline, but want to upload to 2003 Microsoft Outlook.

is optonline your email service provider? So you check your email from a website and not an actual application? I just want to make sure I have all the facts straight.

If you want to use Outlook to read your mail, there should be a .oab file on your work computer you can save and transfer that to your personal computer. In Outlook if you go to File>Import and Export you may be able to import your .csv file. I haven't tried it though. I believe you can import a .csv into Thunderbird as well.

iowagander - 2009-12-19 5:50 PM Happy Saturday Ghoulies!

Take care everyone, and I'll check back in soon.

well thats just FRIGGIN SUCKTASTIC JOHN.  at least all the sucktastic parts.

but good to see you back in the VILLAGE OF GHOUL, where you are welcomed 'home' with open arms, melon presses and sloppy kisses.

mwah.  mwah.  mwah.  mwah.   {{{{{{{{{TOM}}}}}}}}}}

be well, and hurry back.

Thanks Stacie, it's great to be back. Melon presses and sloppy kisses are more than welcome

Okay, Have another {{{{{{{{{{{{{{MELONPRESS}}}}}}}}}}}}}} with a big ole sloppy kiss.

Sorry no kisses from me Tom but welcome back.  We missed you around here!

Discrimination will not be tolerated in the Village!

In this case, yes it most certainly is!

Thanks for helping me out Tom!

I was going to reply with a mildy inappropriate mini-poll, but I decided against it. Look at me being good right before Christmas

There's always time to get yourself back on the nice list!

I don't think I can post it here. I do not want to offend anyone in the village.

Lately I've been lazy and just checking e-mail at through the internet provider website.  I had Outlook set up a while ago linked to a hotmail account that has since expired. I would like to use Outlook again using optonline and upload my contacts from work to home.  Hope that makes sense.
