Good Morning Nibbins....

The walk at Calloway Gardens was wonderful. Even though there was rain it was a soft rain. The temp was actually warm and I wished I was wearing shorts.

The lights were really cool. they had music set up to go with the light displays. One thing we forgot was flashlights (they did not tell you to bring any) and it got awfully dark along the walk inbetween the xmas lights. There were no mile markers, so you did not know how far you had walked and I forgot to start my watch at the beginning, so I was clueless. When we got to a water/restroom stop, one of the group asked how far we had gone. They were told 3 miles. We all looked at our watches and realized that we must be going as slow as snails for it was about 75 minutes into the walk. So we headed on and it was less than 15 minutes later we got to the official 5 mile mark where you could catch a bus and not finish the walk. We all laughed so hard. So according to the guy at the rest stop, we did 3 miles in 75 minutes and 2 miles in 15. We of course did the whole 7 miles and were done in 2 hours. No a bad pace considering the stumbling around in the dark inbetween the lights.

I would do it again. It was a lot of fun. No, sorry i did not take any pics.

PLUS, this is just a quick stop here. Then I have to get back to work. And by the time I check next.... well, you guys will probably be on twisnibbins IV by then!

I'm soooo far behind. I need to quit work and hang out on BT all day! LOL

i was told there were notes on page 24. But we are way past 24 and I gave up even looking at all that went on last night.
