You know how sometimes when you reply to an embedded photo, the photo just isn't there? We could set up a whole fake discussion only there was never a photo! Bwahahahahahahahaha! I love torturing Philthy.

It's the whips, the shackles, the hip boots (which hide the compression socks), and the busted bottle o' wine that does me in.

You be talkin' some funny, dere, Travis.

The only problem is Phil seems to actually read every post, so you would have to edit this whole discussion.

And THAT'S why he is running this month's challenge - he's VERY observant.

LazyMarathoner - 2008-11-03 6:00 PM I'm watching the Ironman Arizona coverage and wow - some of those pros (and AGers) are just HOT. Gives me even more appreciation for the sport

I think running a SUB-FOUR MARATHON is HOT.

Teaching martial arts is hot.  HIIIIII YAAAAA!!!  (with a melon press).

Guys, my RR is in draft and it's loooooooong. I need to edit. No one will want to read it.

It's just that it was such a monumental achievement for me that I don't know what to leave out!

BT is going to charge you a penny for every word.

write what you feel and we will read it -

IMHO - the way I look at it, is that race reports are more for the person writing than the people reading

I don't know about that.  Many persons like reading what the racer has experienced, especially the longer races.  It gives them a "high" or a feeling of elateness or hope.  But, that's just my odd feeling about it.  It could be entirely different.

Just saw that, thanks! I'm glad people are enjoying it. I know it was long, but it was such a close race that there was more to share. I love RRs, it's fun to capture that while it's fresh in your memory to look at later.

We chat, we train, chat some more, train some more. Don't let the 43 pages fool you - we're out there kicking azz on our goals!

Oh, and it's not really just 43 pages when you consider we all chat in Nibbs and on the currently unnamed thread as well. Whew! I'm tired just thinking about it

It's quiet here today. Maybe everyone's voting. My line was short, but once again, my name wasn't on the list. This is the second time this has happened, even though I'm listed on the voter registration site. So I had to do the paper ballot. Which feels like it doesn't count in some way. But I'm glad I voted. This election is so important.
