Agreed! That class would have made me cry i expected to cry. and puke. but i did neither. you would've done just fine my GHOULIE BROTHA. stacieb |

I came up with 20 reasons not to go on a ride. I even laid down across my bed and fell asleep for half an hour. Then I finally drug my azz out the door. I went hard on this loop I have of non busy roads. I had 9.5 miles in and if I went right I would be home in 3.5 miles. If I went left I'd be home a lot more miles later. I went left. When I got home I had 21.72 miles in. It was hot out, and parts were pretty windy. When it was all said and done I'm glad I did it though. Then when I got home I did a mile walk/run with my daughter while she rode her bike. I should sleep well tonight. as well you should. way to go getting out there even though you didnt wanna. HTFU POINTS FOR YOU TOO MY GHOULIE SISTAH. When I was deciding to go left or right I thought about you in your boot camp tonight. I HTFU and took the long way home. see. we SPUR EACH OTHER ON. that would be the GHOULIE-WAY. YAY US. stacieb |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are doing Ironman distances this month! wgraves7582 - 2010-04-07 10:14 AM I have an awesome story: I get home last night and my son is making a grilled cheese. I ask him to make me one. His comment - Why didn't you call me from the road and I would have had one ready for you (I was riding 1st of all!). I tell him come on make me a sandwich. So he does after he cut his in half. As he is making me mine I steal one of the halves of his and stuff it in my mouth. He turns around to leave and goes hey???? I look at our dog and blame her while still chewing! We laughed so hard. I offered him half of mine but he didn't want it! Later he made me payback by letting him have my cereal for a snack instead of his. Yes I have my own cereal and they get in trouble for eating it I have an awesome son - just want you all to know Awesome story Bill! Can't wait until my brood starts doing some cooking besides toast! |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are doing Ironman distances this month! kcarroll - 2010-04-07 10:29 AM Another busy day, so just a quick hello while I'm snarfing down my pbh. I'll go check out our mentor site and post bio tonight when I have a minute. I haven't had time for the catch up read and doubt I'll cover all of it. A couple bits before I sign off: I did not get into NYC (sniff sniff). Now have to decide if I want to run via fundraising or shoot for another race. I did hear about one in Phoenix. I plan to wallow in a bit of self-pity before deciding. Just because I don't usually do that sort of thing and feel like trying it out. I am 11 days away from my half. I ran 10 last weekend and the knee was ok. I might actually pull this one off, albeit with no big time goals. AND the child care issue for that weekend is solved, so no kiddos to worry about while running. Queen, my S'bucks has hot chocolate. Come on down to Jersey anytime you get the craving. I will see if they deliver next time I'm in there. Bill, awesome son. I got nothing else at the moment. You guys have fun. I'll be back for the west coast crew and/or night shift. Sorry to hear about NYC Kim. They probably figured you'd use up too much of the race's "awesome." Feel free to wallow in that self pity for a little bit before you decide where to race this winter. |

JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE W THE HR LADY AT THE SCHOOL. IVE SERIOUSLY BUGGED THE CRAP OUT OF THIS WOMAN - INTENTIONALLY OF COURSE - I WANT HER TO REMEMBER MY NAME. REMEMBER MY NAME AND GIVE ME A FULL TIME JOB. my file is complete! the board approval meeting is on the 19th. i will be getting a call to SUB on the 20th. HOLY FRIGGING COW!!!! i will be EMPLOYED FOR REAL. though i do work at the Y, that's more a PLAY job, if you know what i mean. this will be a REAL job, albeit part time UNTIL THE FALL WHEN I LAND A JOB!!!! this a REAL JOB where i'll have to wear REAL JOB CLOTHES. think they'll mind if i show up in my TRI SUIT????? LOL. stacieb WOOHOO!!! I'm doing my happy dance for you Stacie!!! I would save the tri suit for spirit week though! oooooh. lookie at the little happy feet penguin. escaped my notice the first time. i should put on ELEVATION by U2 and let him rock his little penguin heart out. hee! stacieb He might not have been there the first time. The first picture I posted wasn't what I wanted, I had to go find him. He's so cute, and happy, and an above average dancer. sounds like a description for our very own GHOULIE TOM. you should've just gone to San Diego to snag HIM instead. stacieb I'll take your word for the first two, but not the third. My "dancing" is actually banned in 27 states due to it being a public safety hazard. |

ANY GHOULIES CARE TO SHARE THEIR CREATIVE IDEAS???? just asking. stacieb You can have bonfires in the dessert and we can drink and dance poolside, too. well. that was easy. why didnt i think of that. im thinking the hotel would mind if we had fire outside. we should look into renting a house or something that has a backyard. has anyone gone on to www.homeaway.com i saw some really reasonable rental properties out TOM's way. stacieb Just to throw it out there, the Carlsbad Marathon and Half is the weekend AFTER RnR Phoenix. Alternative perhaps??? |

I would LOVE to be able to make plans for Phoenix. Unfortunately with starting the new business and the DH running for office, money may be a tad tight. By the time I will know, the race will probably be full. We will have to see. Last year there were 36,000+ racers for the full and half marathons I don't think this race fills up. You can sleep on the floor of my room with Stacie Um... No offense Stacie, but umm, I am not sure I want to sleep WITH you on Ann's floor If that's how you roll, NTTAWWT, I will leave you two alone and you can have the bed for awhile. I'll go for a long walk or something. no need. Robin said she doesnt want to sleep WITH me. its over. done. finto. sianara baby. stacieb I don't think she was breaking up with you. I think she was just saying that you wouldn't be real comfortable on the floor, and she wanted better for you. That's why I offered up my bed. I'll go bug Tom so you two can have some special time alone. It's ok. ahhh. thanks for the clarification ANN. and TOMs coming for sure? what other GHOULIES have mentioned coming.....btw. stacieb Either he's going to show or I'm going to kidnap him. either way... I see how it is... and you like it, don't you? Yes. Yes I do. |
