(I recall vaguely some discussion about reward pics)...spent the majority of the morning cooking the turkey (I really need to learn how to fry a turkey...3 1/2 hours for a 20 lb turkey in a roasting bag still seems a like a long time, but I was a good host and made sure the turkey was cooked, meat thermometer and all)...had good friends over...boy oh boy, they brought over apple pie and chocolate mint bars and cheesecake. It was too much. We played games like Farkel and spoons. I haven't laughed that much in a long time...oh, except of course here in Twisnibbins. Speaking of which, I'm gonna miss this thread. One more week, the Twisnibbins reach their goals, and POOF! On to the swim challenge. Of course that way I will actually have time to 'inspire' other folks here on BT. I've been bad lately. We called family after our friends left, and then I took a 'nap' (9pm to 11:30pm) while the rest of my family watched 'The Incredibles.' Hence, here I am...AWAKE and blogging on Twisnibbins. Apparently I'm here alone, but that's O.K., I like my quiet time...(I think I'm going to go copy this into my blog I love the Incredibles - although I have to admit that I've 'napped' as well - last night I napped during the last part of 'Pirates of the Carribean' Awesome job on your run!!! seems to me like that is pic worthy! Heh. My wife is a BIG Orlando Bloom fan. Cheesecake after 'Pirates.'. Enough said. So, has Dee promised anything for you on the pic front... I'm more of a Johnny Depp fan ;-) LMAO - no, she is definitely slacking in the area of promising on Beth's behalf i guess that means you get to pick or I need to come up with an idea Dont forget my apron idea!!!! Hey Cat!! Yep...me too. I'm back on Tuesday to get a cavity filled. Beth and I took naps this evening, so we're both wide awake... NOT TOGETHER! (that didn't sound right)... I think Kendra and her husband went to the dentist this week too - Im thinking less sugar in my diet would be a GOOD idea, no more coke or coffee or anything fun... They said any worse and I would have had to have a root canal... so Im really HAPPY that I avoided that experinece

My goodness, the cost of housing was way inexpensive compared to Minneapolis. We would have gained about a 1000 sq ft of space for less than the cost of our house here. The only thing we worried about was potential flooding, and the 'new' school system... Yes, the cost of living is way more affordable here in Omaha - that's one of my concerns about my potential opportunity Papillion has developed into a well respected school system - I live in the public school system, but my kids go to private school So...we wouldn't have made a 'bad' decision if we moved to that area... Yeah, most of the ConAgra employees lived on the westside. I didn't really want to be that close to all my co-workers...hee... LOL - I hear you - I live no where near my co-workers, pretty much on the opposite side of town Papillion is a nice area - so nope, you wouldn't have made a bad decision |
