Wow - you're up to a lot of entries - it'll be 100 people before you know it hehe well my first challenge had about 75... then Octobers Halloween one was over 130... I cant remember what December was... 100 I can handle I think.... hopefully... let me know if I can help - if nothing else, I can poke my head into the threads to see if there are any obvious questions that I could answer

I think I might have been worrying about nothing when I thought there werent that many people...
Cat, if you want help with anything, please let me know. I'd be happy to help you out. Thanks for the offer -Im ok for now... as long as its not as crazy as the run challenge I will be fine... that thing was like a miny explosion!!!
Actually there is one thing... a general Nibbs plea... tonight when all is quiet on BT (because you are all sleeping) I am going to post a reminder note in Tri Talk and COJ - just saying 'since Ive had people previously admit to forgetting to check the challenge forum just a reminder that the challenge for March is up and teams will be announced Friday AM... as well as Dee's beautiful challenge announcement' So if while Im sleeping anyone wanted to bump it so that it gets seen by the BT crowd who are online while Im sleeping that would be cool! Bonus points for including pictures of Peeps Oooh!! Pick me! I love posting pictures of Peeps. hehe of course!!! Will post the thread links back here tonight... I know a few people dont like challenge stuff going into other forums but otherwise I get lots of 'i dont check the challenge forum...', or 'I didnt know this was on' so I guess Im trying to give everyone the opportunity early! (Basically Im being selfish!)
I don't think it's a problem at the beginning of the month, especially now because there are so many new people. I think it's nice to put it out there to get people involved who aren't familiar with the challenges. Basically they can suck it. hehe nicely put! Besides its good for the newbies to feel like they are wanted... so Tri Talk will be all about - if you havent done one bfore why not try it out!
Now if someone could just work out why Im compelled to keep setting these up and trying to actively recruit MORE people that would be great... Beth? Dee? Any insight from your experiences? |

Its ok - I know you are busy.... lets just say I will be trying to keep out of team captain duties as well!
And I might not inspire everyone with their team info this time... well maybe not... depends on how much computer time I have at home I guess |

Yeah. The lure of Peeps won me over. I've been hitting around the 300 mark since January so it should be challenging, yet doable. |

I didnt really enter many challenges before I started doing my own.... only a couple of swim ones... LMAO - just because I started something
I was actually thinking about writing some BT articles like: 1) How to run a BT challenge - what you need, how it works (although this might be several articles!) 2) The BT Challenge: A beginners guide to the chaos 3) A BT Challenge from an organisers perspective... Im wondering if we write out what you need to do whether more people will do it? Im not sure... I got asked about that summer points challenge someone suggested on the March thread and sometimes I get frustrated... My standard answer is basically... thats a great idea, why dont you set it up and get it going... but very rarely (Dee and one other exception have occurred) do people actually want to make it happen... even if its what they want...
