Master 1734 On a lake in the Adirondacks in NY | Subject: RE: Super Cats, Under Dogs and Anthropomorphic Super Heroes My pool is totally opposite. It's quiet in the wee hours, but mobbed after work when there is only 1 hour of open lap time before the swimming lessons take over. And forget lunch time, when it's packed with seniors. (Bless them for staying active, but they are tough to swim around.) I agree there is nothing better than having a lane to myself. That's enough motivation to get me out of bed early. |

Yeah see, that's the problem right there. I'd much rather work out at 5 PM. serendipity - 2009-04-10 10:03 AM Good morning! I got up and was at the Y at 6 am to swim, only to find out it was closed for Good Friday. That really messed up my workout plan for the week! Went home again and thought about going back to bed, but decided to do some crunches and other core work. (Can't neglect the peach challenge, even if the thread is less interesting than ours.) Despite the Y being closed, I'm still happy it's Friday. Long, long week. Can't wait until it's over. I got up at 5 to go to the gym and sat on the couch and fell asleep till 7:45....i guess my body was trying to tell me something. I will have to get in the pool today sometime or tommorrow to stay on track for this challenge. i cannot dissapoint my Heros and such I am still at work at 5pm, and the wife is less than pleased with the current work out schedule, being mostly nights.......ho hum..... |

Julie hasn't posted in her log since Tuesday, when she wrote her huge to-do list of things that needed to get done at her parents' house. It sounded like everyone was doing okay, so she's probably just busy with that list. |

You guys are gong to hate me, I get the whole new pool to myself most of the time! Hardly anyone swims at lunch time, plus we have been having cloudy windy weather, water has been a bit chilly. Most of my tri crew goes at 8 am, too cold for me.

Master 1734 On a lake in the Adirondacks in NY | Subject: RE: Super Cats, Under Dogs and Anthropomorphic Super Heroes I have been thinking about it and realized that I have been letting work get in the way of my posting duties. That has to stop, before my work productivity improves to a level that will be difficult to maintain. (No sense setting the bar too high.) |

Hmmmm...I could have the entire pool to myself if I used the outdoor pool. Just have to chip the ice off the pool cover and find a wetsuit.... |

We don't have indoor pools and they don't heat the outdoor pool, it can get pretty chilly. And, despite the lack of heated indoor pools, you choose to live in Hawaii. What were you thinking? You should come to the mainland, somewhere in the north, so you can put on ten layers and boots and dig your car out of the snow so you can enjoy a nice swim in a heated pool, then run back to your car before your hair freezes afterwards. Now, that's living! (I hope you know I am teasing you because I am jealous that you live in Hawaii.) |

I lived and NH for thirty years, went to college at Plymouth University aka Plymouth State College and swam on the swim team in the middle of the winter, fozen hair was cool! That pool was very heated, constant battle to cool it down. Honestly I missed winter this year, lack of funds to hit the slopes, kind of sad since I am a snow baby. |
