Are people actually at work and being productive? How am I supposed to be a slacker without accomplices? I'm not like Phil. I can't just talk to myself for pages at at time. Hi Emily! how'd your exam go? Meh. I feel neither good nor bad about it. On the plus side, it seemed like lots of folks were struggling so if I did poorly at least I'll be in good company. |

I can't talk to Phil for pages at a time either.... Oh! That's not what you meant! I am slacking in the best way, I am not working today. I work a 3-day week and I now have Wednesday and Friday off. Yay! I spent the afternoon getting the new Cervelo fitted! I couldn't be happier right now. Pictures? I like to stare at shiny bikes! Me too, I love checking out bikes! I'll post a picture, but it's not bike porn worthy yet. This shot was just after the fitting but it has no brakes/gears yet, the bars aren't taped. I went with the silver bar tape and white brake cables, it will look amazing! It will either be ready tonight or tomorrow. The bottle cage and computer I wanted are on order as well so I'll take it back in a couple weeks and have it finished. I'm hoping to have my race wheels soon as well. I can't wait to ride it! |

Maybe i should fill my gel flask with booze, that would be so like me |

I quit my job and risked it all to be a freelancer. I successfully made it through the first year, but I had to give up a lot in the process. Unfortunately I don't get paid for the time off, but i don't care. I'd rather have the time! |

Master 1817 Lafayette, IN | Subject: RE: The Mysterious Dark Arts - l'acte 2 I *heart* that paint scheme! I really, really want to go bike shopping but it is so not fiscally responsible at this point. I also want to take my road bike in to have aerobars installed and get a proper fitting. But I'm sort of afraid that the "new bike fumes" will go to my head and I'll accidently forget all about being responsible and walk out with a brand new bike. I guess I'll have to live vicariously through you. Enjoy that new ride! |

The sad part is, I've only had my current bike for about six months. In no way to I NEED a new bike. What I need is to work on the engine. But, dang, those bikes look FAST! |
