I'm doing Slugger's challenge too. Going to swim for one, and bike for the other.

What about the previously mentioned shoulder and knee???

Hmmm maybe i should sign up for a challenge...

Well, I have one good knee and one good shoulder. So maybe I should just set my goals at 50%. LOL Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo - Cat's gonna sign up for a challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think so but I have no idea which one... its all so confusing having *options*

That thread makes my blood boil in places so I would say no... I like the comment in there that says... basically... if you meet the right person all the dealbreakers go out the window...

I was going to share my view, but decided that no matter how well I stated it someone would take it badly. I don't want to add to the negativity.

Pity - it started out as a pretty fun thread!

it gets complicated when you tell people that if they are not Christian then they are not 'eligible'.  I don't just mean someone who refers to his self as a Christian, but someone who is doing his best to live out his faith in everything he does.  Not that I am perfect, but this is something that I am working on (Living my faith, I don't expect to ever be perfect).  I want to be able to share all aspects of my life with him.

The thing is whenever a thread turns into religion based someone takes offense.... there was one girl in there that just asked about it and someone immeadiately took offense and I dont think the question was meant to be one of offense in any way... just someone trying to achieve understanding...

that was the bit that got me... where is Sals cookie rule when you need it?

First I need to find a guy that meets the previous 'requirements', then I will serve up a whole bunch of cheesecake.

I LOVE baking so for me its purrfect... we dont have turkey day here... would be good if we did then I could spread out all the things i want to make over more days which would be MUCH MORE practical!

The 'one girl' has been taking offense really easily lately.  I think that she is being given a hard time about it in some area of her life.  She made some major life changes a few years ago-she must feel like she needs to justify her beliefs...which I can understand.  I feel that way from time to time.

That makes sense... the thing with an internet forum is unfortunatley that not everyone knows you so its really easy to take things out of context... both ways!

Its sad but true... unless you are in Nibbs where no one takes anything out of context... right Dee???
