Hawaii is very nice, but I do miss the change of seasons. Finding good roads to ride is tough here too. (I'm on the smallest quietest island) Hawaii is just about the other side of the world from NH. How did you end up there? I married a guy who loves to surf. He works for Marriott in sales and we transferred out here for his job. Been here for 6 years. We no family here, that makes it the toughest. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Super Cats, Under Dogs and Anthropomorphic Super Heroes Rudedog55 - 2009-04-10 1:35 PM on a serious note, does anyone know how Julie (GPOL) and her family is, she has not been around much..... She left an inspires for me the other day.... Her dad is doing a little better. She asked me to update the spreadsheet for her -- but I don't know what her goal is. (Since everyone has different goals this month.) Her internet access is limited while she's out there with her parents. So I just noted on the spreadsheet that she'll update when she gets back. |

That is just not acceptable. We have Dee. They only have Neal. Although last month Neal developed some impressive post padding skills thanks to Phil. Shhhh.... don't tell anyone, but a certain post-padding team member of SCUDASH has been posting a lot on some of the other team threads..... |

That has to stop, before my work productivity improves to a level that will be difficult to maintain. (No sense setting the bar too high.) YAY FOR QUITTING OUR JOBS AND POST PADDING ON BT ALL DAY! |

You guys are gong to hate me, I get the whole new pool to myself most of the time! Hardly anyone swims at lunch time, plus we have been having cloudy windy weather, water has been a bit chilly. Most of my tri crew goes at 8 am, too cold for me.
Hmmmm...I could have the entire pool to myself if I used the outdoor pool. Just have to chip the ice off the pool cover and find a wetsuit.... Ok I am just waking up and my eyes are blurry. We don't have indoor pools and they don't heat the outdoor pool, it can get pretty chilly. And, despite the lack of heated indoor pools, you choose to live in Hawaii. What were you thinking? You should come to the mainland, somewhere in the north, so you can put on ten layers and boots and dig your car out of the snow so you can enjoy a nice swim in a heated pool, then run back to your car before your hair freezes afterwards. Now, that's living! (I hope you know I am teasing you because I am jealous that you live in Hawaii.) LOL, I remember the freezing hair.... I used to put strands of it straight up (or out) and hold it there until it froze. Actually, I'm surprised that no one ever took a picture. Although, that's probably a GOOD thing. LOL |

I got up and was at the Y at 6 am to swim, only to find out it was closed for Good Friday. That really messed up my workout plan for the week! Went home again and thought about going back to bed, but decided to do some crunches and other core work. (Can't neglect the peach challenge, even if the thread is less interesting than ours.) Despite the Y being closed, I'm still happy it's Friday. Long, long week. Can't wait until it's over. I got up at 5 to go to the gym and sat on the couch and fell asleep till 7:45....i guess my body was trying to tell me something. I will have to get in the pool today sometime or tommorrow to stay on track for this challenge. i cannot dissapoint my Heros and such I think that's a sure sign you needed a rest day. Just don't make a habit of it! x2 sometimes you just need a lazy day... I all day yestetrday in PJs until 5pm when I had to shower and such to go to the movies... I felt guilty since it was a lovely day and I could be riding but I had NO energy! |
