Nice jersey!  I always think it's best to shoot for "visible from the surface of the moon" when selecting bike gear.  If it's not bright I'm not putting it on.

HA! You think HIS jersey is bright then you should see mine. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of me in either of them so you'll just have to wait for that one.

BTW, my head is SPINNING right now. My mother wants to take a trip with me and my two kids this fall up the east coast from VA to Maine...all in search of the "perfect lighthouse!" I've been researching a trip and I've seen enough lighthouses just from the research to last me for a good 10 years! If anyone has any suggestions I'll take them. Our tentative trip is as follows:

Sterling, VA to Havre de Grace, MD
Havre de Grace, MD to Fenwick Island, DE
Fenwick Island to Cape May, NJ
Cape May to Barnegate, NJ via the Ferry
Barnegat to Long Island via Statue of Liberty & possible day trip to NYC
Long Island to New London, CT via the Ferry
New London to Boston & all-day site seeing in Boston
Boston to Portsmouth, NH (Wentworth)
Portsmouth to Maine

I've already got 10 lighthouses scheduled and that doesn't include ones in Maine - which is research for another day!

BTW, this is all in ONE WEEK!!!


Suggestions (besides getting off the computer and going out for a run!!)???

Nice shirt! And yes, bright colors are a MUST.

Let's just say that in the past, there have been some teams with members who, for one reason or another, couldn't meet their goals. So I allowed their teammates to do a bit extra. (Seeing as how this is a team challenge, and all... So I wanted people to be able to help out their struggling team members....)

Now, I'm not saying whether that will happen this month, or not. But you never know. So just in case, you may want to be prepared.... Just in case......

Not saying anything. Not a thing. Not even hinting that anything will happen.

But you never know. Which means -- don't lose your motivation now! 'Cause, um... well, you never know what will happen.... Or when.

(Organizing challenges can be fun. Setting rules. Changing rules. Waving the whip with one hand, and the cattle prod with the other....)

It's a lovely small lake, 1/2 mile in length close to my house apparently full of Leeches. I'm a tad bummed now   I'm too afraid to go back.
