kns57 - 2007-12-12 9:41 PM You all were busy while I was in class. Mooseman sounds like a really cool race.

How was class Kendra?

Tis good. I'd tell you guys about it but don't want to scare you.
You're going for a PhD in swimming, running and biking?
LOL, not even close. Sometimes I wish it was that.
Actually after going through the cancer last year I decided that it was time for me to take this bible study course that I've been thinking about for about 10 years. So I'm in year two of a four year course.

that's cool Kendra - is it what you hoped it would be?  it must be if you're in year two

Going to do it? You, Pam and I can all drive up together. I'll be the one waving the cowbell at you, Pam, Pat and Cat.
I think I'm off that weekend, so it could be a possibility. Guess I'll need more time than a weekend though. If we all are serious about it I could make it work. LMK
I think Pam, Pat and Cat are serious about it. Me, well, I think I need to start a tad smaller. Like with a little Sprint Tri. LOL

Come for the party!

And the cowbells.

Ugh I just looked at the air fare for the that time of year... not cheap...

You've got a car. Overinflate the tires. I'll send you a paddle.
How many Twisnibbins do you think we could talk into doing this race?

Well who is within easy travelling distance?

Considering that its in the North East corner of the US and I think half or more of the Twisnibbins are in the midwest or west coast, it's not that easy for anyone. Even for those of us on the east coast, it would be a two day drive for me. Two long days.

Me and USA geography arent so good....

Yeah, it's pretty good. I have always felt that I didn't really know the bible well at all (and my parents were missionaries) and the first year took us through the whole bible, and this year we are focusing on two books in the old and two in the new. I like reading in the new better than the old. The old is pretty depressing. Hubby is in year one this year.

But don't worry, I'm not a bible toting holier than thou roller. Just your average person.

Western NC to Boston is about 17 hours. Give or take a few traffic jams.
This would be longer.

kns57 - 2007-12-12 10:41 PM You all were busy while I was in class. Mooseman sounds like a really cool race.
LOL
You could do a sprint in April or May and be ready for the International distance in June.

you could do the international as your first and you would be just fine... promise!

Bring a spatula. 'Cause you'll need to scrape me off the pavement.

You are underestimating you abilities i think... so... come for a party!

she'll probably feel better about it once she has a sprint under her belt

Totally understand - so whens you first race Dee?

We need to get her in one quick like. Us Twisnibbins know that she'll do great.

Forget Mooseman.  South Carolina HIM.  You know you want to.  If you don't want to race HIM distance we could have a few Twisnibbins relay teams.

But thats 09, what about 08?

How was class Kendra?

Tis good. I'd tell you guys about it but don't want to scare you.
You're going for a PhD in swimming, running and biking?
LOL, not even close. Sometimes I wish it was that.
Actually after going through the cancer last year I decided that it was time for me to take this bible study course that I've been thinking about for about 10 years. So I'm in year two of a four year course.

that's cool Kendra - is it what you hoped it would be?  it must be if you're in year two

Just your average person.

that's a neat thing for you to do together, but individually - did that make sense?

Actually yeah. I don't like to talk religion or politics with friends. I'm breaking that rule right now. LOL

totally understand! we're just extra special friends!

thank you for sharing!  it means a lot

It's a pool in Mexico, actually.

Dang, and here I thought it was in your back yard and you just 'said' you went to that 'other' pool just to make us feel better - hahaha!

Yeah. Well, fortunately, I still have the yacht.

Whew! thank goodness, next I thought you were going to tell me that Santa isn't real

Sure he is. He lives next door to the Easter Bunny.
